Abandoned: Burger King - Charleston, SC

What's good, everyone?! Today's video features a look at an abandoned Burger King in Charleston, SC. This location closed approximately around the same time as several other restaurants owned by the Charleston area BK franchise group. I believe these locations can include the former North Charleston restaurants off of Rivers Ave, Ashley Phosphate, Dorchester Rd, and Tanger Outlets. (All of which I have filmed, but only the Ashley Phosphate and Dorchester Rd videos are public.)
I never ate at this location. but I know that it has been abandoned for several years. I apologize for the large delay in the video's release relative to its original filming date. Subsequently, the quality of the video isn't as good as I would like it to be. Regardless, I hope you all enjoy the video.

The Post and Courier has an article about this building. It will be torn down and replaced with a bank. According to the article this place closed in 2019.

It’s never been boarded up. It’s getting ready to be torn down and replaced with a new First National Bank branch.

I ate there a few times while waiting for the bus. They had the worst employees. Went in there one day shortly before it closed and an employee said they were closed and I walked out.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that your experience was rough. I never had the chance to eat at this location, so I wouldn't know. Sometimes it's rough for employees; Over-worked, under-staffed, and underpaid.

I think BK is a dying brand. I have driven by there so many times. This location didn’t get good reviews online. Great video!
