    My wife has a PK390 which we purchased in (+/-) 2012, and we've never experienced any problems with it. Perhaps it's your ammo and/or your technique. In watching your video, I saw several safety violations, so I suspect you'd benefit from taking a class in ccw.

Admittedly, it feels a bit cheap to an experienced shooter, but mine has been 100% reliable for the past three years I’ve had it. Sorry for your bad fortune with the pistol. Downvotes for clickbait title and description. Should say “My PK380 jams/failed to eject.” Not sufficient reviewing. Gun ever shot before? Was this a range rental? You’re making it sound like you have extensively checked it out with this description of walther should be ashamed, etc. , if you have, that is not demonstrated here. No discussion🤷🏻‍♂️ no nothing 🤷🏻‍♂️ did you take a second to maybe Google what other people think. Most of results that were quick to find discuss the gun being extremely reliable 🤷🏻‍♂️. This should suggest hey maybe something is off with this particular gun, as a reviewer maybe I call the manufacturer? Or do anything to make sure this isn’t a fluke or a dirt problem? Biggest takeaway from the video was just this guy’s rude af to this lady at the range.

      @@rolandvenne7419 it's a 50/50 split on reliability per the Walther forums. If out of those 50% of reliable ones, 100% of the videos on the internet are positive, I feel it's my duty to represent the other 50% of defective ones by being the 1% of videos showing their reliability record.
      Who's the real bad guy here? The one guy telling you this gun is not reliable and a little research backs me up? Or everyone else claiming the gun is super reliable, despite hours of readable testimonials to the contrary?

    Bought this pistol for my daughter more than 10 years ago and this was what she used to qualify for CCL. Never had a FTF with any branded brass ammo that we used. This morning she tried my Sig P365 and SF Hellcat RDP and she was unable to rack the slide- small hands, weak grip. When she got to the PK380 it was easy for her rack. Too bad as I was going to give her the Sig P365. For her its either this or a revolver. I did replace the spring with the Galloway Precision spring guide rod 3 years ago and this had made it easier for her to reassemble the pistol and rack it.

    I have one of these, and like the gun, but would never carry it. It's easy to set the safety while racking the slide, and goes opposite way of my other guns' safeties. While the light slide pull is nice, it sometimes fails to return to battery. A slight whack on back fixes that, but I fear it can fire out of battery, if not careful. A spring kit would definitely improve this gun.

    • @GuapoJhimi
      @GuapoJhimi 2 года назад

      If I have a complaint, other then the spring from hell which I replaced with a stainless capped spring rod, is the necessity to "push up" on the safety. It is so foreign from my experience that it is kind of disconcerting, but it's a comfortable pistol to carry IMO. And re the video, ammo plays a TREMENDOUS part in jams, misfires, etc. Probably more than the firearm.

    “Pk380 is unreliable” as he shoots it with the safety on and his 220 lbs build is slamming the magazine into the well multiple times when the gun weighs as much as a potato chip. If you limp wrist the gun it will fail to feed. So much going wrong in this video

    It's not the pk380 it's your pk380 that is the issue. Yah hate to see it but dud firearms do make their way out. Tho it's rare it does happen.

    I am obese like you are,my hands are crippled too..the weak pathetic strength we both posses causes pistol to flop uncontroablly in our hands..i got a b.b gun it is not easy..but with a two handed white knuckle death grip it is managable. my wife is obnoxious too..

    The Walther PK380 I bought is definitely unreliable. Extremely disappointed with it. Will never buy another firearm from Walther.

    Yeah, WE cant hear you either. Dud you watch this before you posted. With a name like "HollywoodHornet" you'da thought you coulda done better. Although this is what people have come to expect from Hollywood. I have several handguns, both auto and wheel guns and I like this Walther. I haven't had issues more pronounced that any other firearm. I did have a bad water pump on a '69 Camaro once, so FER GOD'S SAKES DON'T BUY A CHEVROLET 'CAUSE THEY'LL KILL YOU. Geez, freak out much?

      Cars aren't generally used as self-defense items so comparing a water pump that is a maintenance item to a firearm used to save your life is like comparing apples to oranges.
      I can't recommend a firearm that has been sent to Walther 3 times for service that still comes back broken and unreliable every time...because having a false sense of security and trusting your life to a weapon that is unreliable will kill you unlike a worn out water pump.
