Great to see ya around . Tuesday got to lay in snowy driveway and change starter on 2001 van .My buddy has a 85 Monte carlo SS ,his timing chain broke .He has my pickup ,and I doubt I will ever get it back .He has a incredible garage thanks to me ,but I cant get his lazy ass moving . BTW he is a retired mechanic lol. its been a long time since the streets were this bad .Came down Gravois yesterday near your shooting range. It was still one lane . I have to get to kirkwood saturday . I fought some respiratory crap for a week that sucked . One of the stores that I service constantly lets the lighting maintenance go WAY too long . The manager tried to blame the crap on me ,that didnt work out at all.The district manager got on the managers butt and called bs . I been doing their work 19 years now. Commiefornia is feeling the demonrats leadership,I have zero sympathy for them . well we are getting more snow ,go figure . Good luck with everything . 10 Jan 2024 06:49 am cst

You CAN absolutely put LED's In the low beam and the high side. Either get shorter led's, or carve a hole in rear cover to have more room for them. Easy.
@@gokaneinthemembrane2745 I've already made a video on that.

The blue halogens are horrible. Out of these I would def go LED. I prefer HID low and LED high beams.

Car research 2003
Is there any long term effects doing it this way?, I’ve been driving it in L6 for a while now to work around the start/stop and there’s now a light coming in that say “reduced engine power” and I’m being blamed for it cause I drive in L6? 😢 so was just wondering
@@amandaaguilar4907 those aren't even remotely related. There are no long term negative effects. L6 is the same as D, with the exception your starter and batter last longer by using L6. These scam mechanics must be stopped and put in their place. They rely on people and their ignorance of how cars work. Especially if you're a female. Almost all of my "customers" are female because "real mechanics" are always ripping them off and thank goodness they come to me for a 2nd opinion. I have a day job. I don't need to fix people's cars in my spare time, so I have no incentive to rip people off. Scan the code(s) yourself and see why you are in limp mode. The car will tell you if your turbo is going out or you have a vacuum leak or whatever the cause is. Transmissions don't generate power. They transmit the power. Hence the name (transmission). The engine converts the fuel into power. Hence the name (power train). A failing transmission will not reduce engine power, it will only fail to transmit the power to the wheels. A failure of the engine will not reduce transmission of power, it will only reduce power output. I hope that helps. I dream of an America where mechanics aren't always trying to rip everyone off and play on their ignorance. That's why I have this channel. To show people that when you get a "catalyst system efficiency below threshold" code, you know to confirm the rear O2 sensor is working and then address that, before some shady mechanic tells you your catalytic converter has failed, them sells you a new cat for hundreds or thousands of dollars, them installs it and you still have the code. When you could have bought a $100 rear O2 sensor, changed it yourself for free and you're back in business...as just one example. I'm not sure if so-called professional mechanics are all this stupid and ignorant or this is intentional malice. I'd actually prefer it to be malice and intentional, because if they're all this stupid, and me, with no professional schooling, is a better shade tree mechanic, then the prophecy of everyone being terrible and worse at their day job than me has been fulfilled. And that's a bad thing.
You couldn’t have just replaced the mirror itself ????

I have a pk380 for my wife to shoot at the range. I will certainly admit that the fit and finish leaves a bit to be desired, and the trigger is nothing to brag about, but it always goes bang. It is made by Umarex on Walther's behalf to keep costs low. Which isnt a good business choice in my opinion because it can tarnish a good name. Real deal Walthers though, which I also own, are top notch in every regard. Also, loading a single round like that is no bueno. Rack it in from the mag, then top it off. And your teacup grip. This stuff makes it apparent that you are not well versed in handguns.
@@mboe7944 Cool story, bro. Conglaturation. You're winner.
Why can’t I apply it in the same location? On my f150 rear window I only really can put it in the existing location with the two dots, will that work ok?

My wife has a PK380 and between us both, we've put over 500rds through it and never had a problem. I just fixed the only 'problem' I've ever had with it - putting that stupid rod guide/spring assembly back in after cleaning. Galloway Precision sells a captured guide/rod spring assembly - reassembly is no long a battle.
Or do what I do and just put it in neutral while you’re stopped. It won’t auto stop.
Thank you so much. I this has been bothering me for four years. I didn’t know how to disable auto stop on this.
Hey Matt how did the control arms hold up?
@@gowasiem they're still going strong. The bushings squeak now as the suspension moves since the bushings aren't rubber but that doesn't bother me any. I can't even hear it from inside the car if the windows are up.
@@HollywoodHornetoh you mean the hemi joint correct? And you daily drive the car in snow salt conditions? I just to see if these control arms are the way to go, I don’t want to go back in a replace arms in few years
@gowasiem I daily drive it all year round. I break out the truck when it gets super snowy/icy in case I need the 4x4 so I don't get stuck, but I have driven it in snow and ice, rain, cold and hot, with salty/treated roads and I would definitely buy them again if and when they fail from age/wear and tear. If I were to buy another E38 in the future, I would definitely put these on over the stock ones.
Okay u definitely sold me on them.
@gowasiem I'll be very sad if they ever stop making them and mine fail and I am forced to use the stock control arms with no adjustment.
Hey @hollywoodhornet how has the sliver project rear suspension hold so far?
Thanks, I’m about to prob to an installation for one of these…. Yes Chrysler has the absolute worst battery placements, behind the wheel, close the fire wall where the hood lift at sits lowest point, under the damn seat
Hey! Is there any way you could you tell me how much space/gap is between the new bump stop and lower control arm when the vehicle is resting on the ground? I had to loosen the torsion bars to replace lower control arms, but lost the mark that I made on the torsion key adjustment bolt. Today I noticed that the bump stop is almost touching the lower control arm, so I need to raise ride height but can't find specs. If you could look at yours and measure the space between bump stop and lower control arm, it would really help me out tremendously. Thanks!! 🙏
@@jeeplove_8831 I will check and advise later tomorrow when I have the time and the ground isn't covered in snow. Off the top of my head it's at least an inch. They're nowhere near touching the control arm.
@HollywoodHornet Thanks bud !! Sorry for asking, I know how much it sucks to be out in the cold. Apparently most '98-'03 Dakota's have coil springs instead of torsion bars, and also think it has a factory lift so the bump stop measurement would help me a lot. Just trying to get it decent enough until I can afford tires and a proper alignment.
@@jeeplove_8831 I have measured the distance between the bump stop and the lower control arm. The outboard side (closest to the wheel) was 1 inch after lifting the truck to change out my wheels for winter. After rolling the truck back and forth a few times to settle the suspension, that changed to 3/4 of an inch.
@@HollywoodHornet awesome that helps out tremendously!! Thank you very much!! 👊🙏
