do you install catch cans to prevent the intake and head filling up with crud from egr and oil combining. i found you need good catch cans set up properly so there is no chance of oil from the catch can making its way into the intake in a sizeable volume when four wheel driving on extreme angles etc etc

what is the normal temperature of the engine yd25 ? my Navara at a speed of 130km/h the motor temperature of 87-89 degrees,when outdoor temperature +5,
only thing i noticed to that is a turbo is not to put cold air into the engine it works from using the waste exhaust gas to spin the turbine to compress air it leaves the turbo warm the intercooler is there to cool down the air what makes it dencer the dencer the air the bigger the bang in the engine in hand giving you more power . your engine would run hotter with out a cooler but still have the power gains as the turbo has already filled the cylinder with more air then if it had no turbo .
I need a diesel pump changed on my d22, I have a pump but have been told that it’s in the timing chain and I’m not 200% with timing can I get a price??

york my engine has a oil leak coming from fuel injector 3 is it the seal gone bad or the gasket blow and it offset the seal. if you need a picture please let me know

Myd22 keeps doing this shit wheni turn the aircon on change gears and full lock if its raining. Had my mechanic do them and re adjust them i even adjusted them before that might have to file or its the aircon belt down there giving me the shits..
D22 pickup yd25, 2005. Starts good, tick over good and drives well on flat. As soon as it hits incline no power foot flat down and you see rpm dropping, any idear.john

Maybe just like the 4D56 of Mitsubishi except the 80hp non turbo charged, but only from the oldest mechanical injection with non-intercooled turbo to intercooled one, and the newest with crdi and vgt with different power levels. YS23 is the newest like the 4N15 for the emissions compliance for Europe and replacement of 4D56, even though they just still kept the YD25 until now for less strict emission markets like SE Asia, Africa and Latin Americas.

Very good demo. Do you have any idea why balance shaft gear would be broken. My chain still looks OK, but balance shaft gear is crushed.
