got a cabstar yd25 engine , 50k miles starts fine, and will idle, soon as you rock the vehicle side to side even slightly it will run ruff and ruff idle and eventually stall any idles, changed diesel filter etc THanks
I have a series 5 l200 bought it and love it. after buying it realized i had a head issue. Did a pressure test and found a leak coming up the injector port on the third injector. fixed the head all running lovely. Then my oil over filled did a service and changed the oil had my DPF cleaned on the car and was told all fine but my oil still fills up IMO too quickly so my next step was to remove the DPF and clean it properly. The guy who cleaned it on the car said my pressure were correct.
Love diesel engines but would never have another one because of the DPF, that's why I'm keeping mine because it hasn't got one👏. Always Interesting to watch. 👍

Hello Des Wayne here in Australia mate I have bought a R51 TI turbo diesel 2.5 dci And no oil in water no real bubbles in radiator and no over heating BUT my mechanic found a small water leak on the outside of the manifold area Is this detrimental or will Kseal fix this ?.? I am only on a disability pension and I’m 70 yrs old and this would be my first ever car With aircon and power windows and nice things in it lol And would love to keep it What’s your thoughts Also I appreciate your channel for its honesty to all the people out there that’s honourable mate I have a RUclips channel too Cheers 🍻 CrouchOz
Agreed, I've had a D23 with the exact same issue plus smoke from the exhaust on occasion. Couldn't bleed the cooling system and kept loosing water. I clamped and took the coolant pipes off the EGR, ran the engine and found exhaust coming out of the EGR coolant pipes. I don't normally suspect head gaskets on the D23 unless it's dumped all it's coolant and been driven dry.

As if you drive around town stop start it puts it in another mode ?? was looking at the np300 then seems it has more issues than anything i love the pathfinder just wish it was a bit more modern whats the best engine to get for reliability and mpg (times are hard) and np300 vs old style pathfinder cheers

Does this mean 1 or more injectors have failed, if so is the only solution to replace injectors? This is the first video I could find with the exact same issue. Thanks for any help.
I'm from South Africa and I have a Navara 2.5 D40 Spain Spec. It continually gives me a P0546 code. Exhaust Gas Temperature Circuit High (Bank 1) and goes into Limp. Clearing the code and its fine gor a few km's and thrn limps again. CAT has been deleted and EGR blanked. I read there was a recall for faulty EGT sensor way back. Could that be the problem? Someone also mentioned the SCV needs replacing. If its SCV, will Diesel Injector Cleaner help or be good to ads in the future? Also read the intercooler could use a clean (240 000km on the clock) Best guess, what would you advise me to look at ?
Hi there I have a 2009 pathfinder sometimes when I come to a hill or on a hill I go to rev the car up and let the clutch out and it lacks in power it doesn’t pick up like a normal car would what would you suggest

It will disappear after staying in that rev line for a few seconds (warming up) and re-appear after being parked up, allowing the engine to cool off for a few minutes with out even shutting it off. It is not any of the accessories as it still persists with both belts off. My mate says the turbo is a goner. Would be unfortunate as I had it replaced half a year ago. I've read something online about it possibly being an exhaust manifold leak. The noise is not the traditional turbo whooling and it came out of nowhere. I also read something about transmission filter being clogged and starving the oil pump as a result. I've checked the tranny oil and it's at an appropriate level and color. I first heard it while exiting a rest stop on the Autobahn and it's been driving me nuts. Any thoughts on this?
Hi, I have a 2010 navara 2.5 Diesel, I have had an issue with having no power, two days ago I had the DPF regeneration done, stil a issues but not so bad. The problem now is it has alright power in low but going over 80 k/m it seams to loose power and drops to 60 k/m. In the next couple of days I am going to test the MAF sensor but really leaning towards the suction control valve, your thoughts would be appreciated. Reards Brett.

egr cooler could also put hydrocarbons, and pressure in cooling system, I no longer trust this test.
Agreed, I've had a D23 with the exact same issue plus smoke from the exhaust on occasion. Couldn't bleed the cooling system and kept loosing water. I clamped and took the coolant pipes off the EGR, ran the engine and found exhaust coming out of the EGR coolant pipes. I don't normally suspect head gaskets on the D23 unless it's dumped all it's coolant and been driven dry.

I’m sure the cause of over pressure fault was cause by bottom hose rubbed threw on air con pulley and loss of water
