The show follows the guild Fairy Tail. The saying of the show is based around the ideas if fairys really have tails. She absolutly feels like she is the main female character. as for the main male charcter, i consider that to be Gray. Canon be dammed, he's much more interesting than Natsu. And he has actually some awareness on how Juvia loves him. Natsu and Lucy never figuered it out, altough they behave like a couple.
