Just realized something. In the Edolas arc, Erza is the only character who fought her Edolas counterpart. All the other Fairytail characters were able to team up with and fight beside their Edolas versions. And Erza Nightwalker is pretty freaking strong, especially given that she can't use actual magic and relies completely on magical objects/weapons.

Erza isn't always that tough. She has many weaknesses. One of them being the fact that she cares too much about her friends, she is too reckless, most of her armour is just clothing, she has a limit to things she can change (requip) into. :)
