Tips: any -ga skill will cancel Bahamut's channeling. At the beginning, you just use Firaga with Cloud and immediately put a arcane ward on him, making Cloud cast 2x Firaga. Then, use Tifa to build ATB and use her Thundaga inside Arcane ward. Keep using -ga spells until Bahamut get pressure and build up your ATB with 3 characters. When he recovers, wait until Bahamut cast umbral aura and press all -ga spells from Aerith and Cloud inside Arcane ward. Repeat it until Bahamut get pressured again and finish him with Tifa.
Wow, I've been underestimating Parry it seems. I mostly use it on Tifa and Aerith to dodge quickly, so it seemed useless with Cloud. But it can actually cancel the recovery animation??? Then there's the Braver to Triple Slash combo... awesome!
I think you can avoid it if you're really far away from Leviathan. In this video I parry the Gyro right before it hits to cancel the hit/block stun and start attacking ASAP
This sword he is using is the highest in damage, using the fury ring, attack with punisher mode, behamut matiria and any mattiria that increases ur attack power all these together will make ur attack deal crazy amount of damage the infinity ability attack deals 9999 damage now

The Elemental materia in FF7R works differently. In the old FF7, 100% of your physical damage turned into elemental damage. In FF7R the Elemental materia adds a bonus percentage of elemental damage on top of your physical damage. In short, Ifrit is absorbing the added fire damage (+23% from mastered Elemental Materia) but is still taking physical damage from Cloud's attacks.
Skill Master materia. When you use 3 different skills (magic included), you get ATB back on the 3rd skill you used. The Braver at 0:46 was the 3rd skill I used after Focused Thrust (0:25) and casting Stop (0:40).
I have a question, why does everyone recover 50% HP and MP at the start of each round? For me it is always 50% HP and 30% MP. Is it a different patch or do I have to do something different?
It was always 50% HP and MP for me; I dunno why it's 50% HP/30% MP for you. This run was within 1 or 2 months of the game's release date on PS4, but patches may have changed it since then.

You can stun her a couple times with a fire attack including while shes casting familiar frosts. And anytime before that. Once she casts it then all fire spells are immune until she casts diamond dust

@@samasama2121 and like michael did. He added elemental +fire materia to his weapon so when shes pressured the stagger bar dramatically increases where as a regular attack with out fire doesnt raise the stagger too much. That's one way of knocking her out the way fast.

Why did Ifrit completely ignore you while you were killing Bahamut?
It's a camera angle thing - if an enemy is off screen, they're less likely to attack you.

At ~75% hp, Shiva casts Frost Familiars. Hitting Shiva with any Fire magic before she finishes casting will pressure her.
