It was incredibly janky to play when it first came out. And also SO many buttons for android. It also, at the time, work well with my phones built in shoulder triggers.
Hopefully it's been polished up because it was an absolute mess.

Why you guys made this mobile-only, I'll never understand.
Even when I play it with the Backbone controller there's still HUGE delay. Like playing a fighting game online with bad netcode.
For money, that’s why it’s on mobile. Money market on mobile is massive.

What a bumpy ride. Its a love and hate relationship for this game. Its not good but its not that bad. There a lot of bugs and glitches here and there but they did their best to fix it but I guess it took way too much time and resources. Gacha was so unfair and broken but the cosmetics looked fantastic (except the weapon skins). If only SE provided even more and give a chance, I bet the game would turn out great like bringing the game to other popular platforms. In the end, it never happened and now the game has ended. I enjoyed it. Played BR games before like pubg, FreeFire and in CODM but it doesnt have the charm like First Soldier has. Godspeed, FF7First Soldier, you will be remembered. The memories will forever be etched in my heart.

This game really needs a Console and pc port as it feels like a full on console/pc game but decided to put it on mobile but seriously imagine the massive potential once it hits these platforms hell I love the Gold Buster Sword and just imagine what that might look like if they put this game on other consoles.

Too bad its a money grubbing gatcha game. I suggest everyone give square enix a good decade of a break to let them get back to making proper games...that actually release in their entirety.
Thank God this game is shutting down....I wanted to play...it seems kind of fun....but I am so done with microtransaction and square enixs way of doing dlc and their atrocious storytelling. I got old games that fuctuion as a complete package.
If you looking, Ill be happy when you return to your roots square enix...I think we all will.
It's a shame because the stories themselves aren't bad, it's just the way they always try to segment important vital pieces of the story onto so many needless spin-offs and additions, and it feels like it's obviously a decision from higher-ups and not the creatives themselves. You can see it with how they're marketing ff16 with how they promise that the entire story is within the game and no supplementary material which was the problem with 15. 15 which has a genuinely enthralling emotional story and lore but it's all hidden off into an anime, a CGI film, a "demo", a Standalone multiplayer dlc and then they still couldn't even put the actual full story into the main game so it was all thrown into DLC episodes and updates, and then the final DLCs were canceled so then the true ending to the story was thrown into a book. Like I maintain the Final Fantasy 15 is a good game, the core story between the four Bros is greatly emotional and engaging but the actual plot going on around them is so disjointed and almost incomprehensible unless you're paying extreme attention and can fill in the blanks yourself.
At least for Final Fantasy 7 remake it feels a lot more manageable, play the original game, play Crisis Core or the upcoming remaster, and then you can play the Remake and all its future parts. Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus genuinely (at least so far) don't seem to be too important. I'm liking what they're going with for the Remake, it is a meta sequel to the original that was still genuinely enjoyable, even to someone like me who actually played the Remake before the original.

I for one am happy about it....they are pushing out so much random trash. Makes me wonder if this game didnt exsist, the part 2 of ffvii may have been produced by now...
...i wouldnt buy it at this point anyway, they been cutting up their games so much the past 10 years, and only more as time goes on.

@@ohcharlie428 I hope they learn their lesson sooner than later. They are capable of putting out great games. I hope they keep Final Fantasy XVI as it is. A standalone title with no strings attached. It looks solid. Guardians of the Galaxy was also great.
@@iitz_kingkongxx9038 yea but you know they got so much more with ever crisis and crisis core and all of their other ips. You have to understand that them taking time to manage a server while providing updates to multiple games while making more games is gonna spread a company very thin.

I ultimately dont care what they do with ffxvi. Ffviir was the last straw for me with them, after that stupid ending (and and all the padded boring content). I dont have faith in their resolve for their mainline entries. They pusbed the core concept too far from what it was. I could get on board if they included a cast of playble characters...but ffxvi is jusy a one character slog with quicktime summon events. Its just a b movie....so ill just watch it like one when someone plays through it.
