Good day, would have preferred to fix it but don't want to weld on the edge of the blade and potentially create a weak spot. If the blade had a lot of value to it I would have considered it.
Thank you for the feedback, I had to shorten it because of the crack I found after removing the rust as shown in the video at 2:05 Original plan was to restore it as a machete
