Ducati 2 Stroke Restoration Part 2 - FixNation
Good day
This is part 2 of restoring my 2 stroke Ducati water pump, the original fuel tank was unfortunately too far gone from standing in the sun so had to replace it with a different tank.
I'm by no means a professional, just someone that loves working on and fixing things and if you have any suggestions, tips or questions feel free to comment on the video and ill try my best to get back to you.
I got a entry level camera to record on so still getting used to it, seems like a small upgrade over the mobile phone I used before.
Thank you for taking time to watch my videos and the support.

Good day Today I'm attempting to do a near perfect restoration on this swivel bullet vise no 5. I'm going to try and reuse as much of the original parts and hardware as possible, only had to replace the jaw fasteners because they were too rusted and damaged. Did a lot of nickel plating today to prevent rust on some parts and to leave a smooth finish. I'm by no means a professional, just someone...
Old Rusty Machete Restoration (Rust Blue) - FixNation
Просмотров 16 тыс.Год назад
Good day Today we are restoring and modifying a old rusty Machete, the original plan was to do a perfect restoration polishing the blade to a mirror finish but found the rust marks are too deep and I will have to grind it thin to clean up the blade so I rather went with rust bluing. Found a crack on the edge of the blade so I had to cut of the tip. Handle was made from Kiaat and Seringa wood to...

If your lights is in bad condition might be best to start at P 320 then moving up until you reach P 800 or P 1000. After the wet sanding was done I rinsed th...

    You did the wrong thing. Why did you cut the knife? You should have just repaired it

    • @Fix-Nation
      @Fix-Nation 11 месяцев назад

      Good day, would have preferred to fix it but don't want to weld on the edge of the blade and potentially create a weak spot. If the blade had a lot of value to it I would have considered it.

  • @Yoquese511

    That is quite small for being a machete, looks more like a big knife but anyway great restoration

    • @Fix-Nation
      @Fix-Nation 11 месяцев назад

      True I wasn't sure because it was quite large for a knife but on the smaller side for a machete, but after I had to cut it shorter because of the crack in the blade it's definitely a knife now. Thank you
