Song: Quietus (Acoustic)
Album: Consign To Oblivion
Lyrics:
The culprit, you act before thinking
Caught in your ignorant sin
And lying to your own reflection
You thought you could hide
Deprived of my own innocence, denied
The infinity of recurring torment
Your comeuppance
See, hear the torture inside
Devouring what was left of my pride
You thought it's not going to happen to you
Thought you could hide
Deprived of my own innocence, denied
The infinity of recurring torment
Your comeuppance
Dwelling in a mind, mixed up and
Your regret has spread over the sea
Deprived of my own innocence, denied
The infinity of recurring torment
Your comeuppance
Dwelling in a mind, mixed up and
Your regret has spread over the sea
you can tell she's sick.. she normally has a good support while singing and doesn't scream in some parts like she does here.. anyway, i love her voice and I think epica is amazing!!
Dear god i love simone, best singer in metal and incredibly beautyfull...
EPICA TOCANDO EL CAJON PERUANO WOOOOOOOOOOOO
Sounds amazing acoustic!
Great song!!!
@Estefmg Well, she was sick here, maybe she was tired or didn't feel well. After all, she is a human, remember that. Simone is really nice woman, she's so funny sometimes it disturbs the band's work because people are all laughing, she hugs her fans and is ready to give autographs. But nobody is disposable 24 / 7! Imagine you're down with a bad cold, you're forced to sing eight, maybe ten songs, and then the mad crowd rushes towards you -.-
otima!
good version!!! Epica é foda!!!
@pmanderson It's true that their fanbase is big, but if you compare Dio, who is (or was, RIP) MUCH bigger than anyone probably in the metal scene, he took the time to speak to every fan who approached him and was always very kind and treated you with all his respect and really considered you. Same thing with Ozzy, he's just an awesome person who even hugs fans and is very thankful to every fan. It's a shame to hear they are like that, especially when they are not a really big band...
0:27 Is an angel :3
wow, lovely Simone, but the guys are also great! Listen to Arien at the cajon, sounds so great in this song!
@Surykatkaaa We're not talking about this exact time, I know she was sick but that's not the point. The point is that she is usually very rude to fans, whether she's sick or not. And I've heard this from many people (not only online but some friends who went to see them at the hotel when they played in my country). I feel that she's very racist, she seems nice to europeans in general but not to other nationalities, and she seems funny in videos, but in real life that doesn't seem the case
gaaf nummer simone is geweldig zangeres
groetjes nartin
mooi nummer simone
@Estefmg Also I bet you don't own The Road to Paradiso. There they explain how their connection with fans is like.
@Estefmg I bet you haven't seen some meets and greets over here. She's not -usually- rude to fans from other nationalities as you state. Have a look at the video where chilean fans meet her and Mark Jansen. And the person who says that they arrived two hours late at the venue. I mean moaning for that is stupid. What can you do when you are at a traffic jam? Nothing else to wait. Of course she felt stressed after all. Seriously you're making a storm in a cup of tea.
@kiotocitystories I don't think it matters what they SAY about their relationship to fans. What matters is what ACTUALLY HAPPENS. Still, like I said, it's a good band. Whether they're good people, that's something different. I think I said it before, I appreciate the heart of the artist more than their talent. You might disagree, and that's fine. We all have very different opinions, and that's fine as well.
I prefer acoustic version of "Quietus", really nice :)
...Uma visita sonora por sitíos arqueológicos Maias
why the hell there is a dislike to this video!!!!!
@trisha6623 Exactly my point. I still like them, but why bother doing all you did if all you get is that sort of reaction from them?
@pmanderson So you're saying you've never downloaded music??? Hard to believe, since you're watching videos on RUclips without paying for any rights... I'm not saying I'm better than anyone else, I'm just saying I am disappointed at their lack of contact with fans, being that fans are the ones they owe their success to. A lot of people don't care if who they admire are asses, I do. I still like the band and like her a lot though, she's a great singer and that will not change.
Why does she have that giant ring?
What you heard is wrong.Simone is not racist. Give it a break. I saw a video when a guy in Argentina tried to move in for a kiss & Simone said "Oh I don't do kisses" Apparently that makes her racist. I would not kiss that same Argentinian guy either, does that make me racist too?
totally right and if u read her personal life one of her closest friends was muslim growing up..she moved away and was devastated..i think its just a natural reaction not to wana be touched by strangers
@pmanderson They're not THAT big a band. I mean they play in front of 1,000 people tops unless they're in South America. And it really is a shame, because the fans are the ones that buy the album and the tickets. If it weren't for the fans, they'd still be playing in their garage. I've even heard that Simone is very racist, which is also very disappointing. I still listen to the band, but it makes a big difference, I don't buy their albums, I download them. They don't deserve my money.
People there look so bored.. I would be totally different if I had been there
