- New build has started, a 1985 #BMW #K100 RT. This will also be completely disassembled, rebuild USD's, and the output shaft will be replaced by the later model, the 12 rivet. A lot of #Cerakote will also be used and unique products from @ThePowerbrick

That is an interesting bike. The upper fairing is from an LT. The seat and tail section is from a later year K-bike but i cannot tell what model because they all used the same rear section after 1985. So that makes the seat from a later year as well.
It was a mix-up indeed, but the most important thing to me was that the engine and drivetrain were in good condition since I'm ditching the majority of the farings and OEM parts
Cracking intro and great to see your process
Thanks buddy 👍🏼 next video will be out this Sunday on the K build
Good job!
Thanks 👊🏼🤙🏼 Next video will be out next Sunday! Paint and assembly 👌🏼
Nice video. Well done. Got my like.
Thanks man, nice to hear. Then I think you'll like the end result as well👍🏼😁
@@corner.custom Yeah, it is likely to happen. :)
Great 🤟🏼🔥
K100RT never came with an electric windscreen as they were fixed screens. That looks like a K1100LT screen. I have both bikes!
Was s cool feature to have for sure. It was quite a hybrid of multiple versions, but the basics were perfect for a build
wunderbar !
Thank you 👏👍
pro tip, watch at 0.25 speed and it's almost at normal speed - lol
Hahaha great thinking 😁👍🏼
hi, maybe a silly question but i never saw a black exhaust on a bmw k. Is that a cover? if so, where can i find those? thx
Hi man. I shortened the original exhaust. Better flow, better sound and lighter weight. I sell these via my Instagram page, Corner.Custom. Send me a DM and we'll sort it out
Hallo was kostet Ihre Arbeit?
At the moment I'm not taking on any work besides the who builds I'm working on right now. Maybe later on this year
Poor RT. Never to tour again. Now a trendy RAT Bike. Not a fan.
All good, everybody has his own taste 🤟🏼
This man appears to take great pride in his bike. I was thinking I have a 1985 K100 RT that I love but my time is so much more valuable that the bike I could not do this. I thought his cafe racer looked stunning.
@curtrn Really does take some serious time to build a bike like this. It will take a easy 250 hours to do so
I'm inclined to agree. i think i just mind because that bike was in great condition when he started on it. But at the same time i have to concede that all things are temporary and that if it can keep bringing someone joy and stay out of a scrap yard. what more could a bike ask for.
Nicely said 👌🏼 👏🏻
