Hi I love your no-nonsense recipes and approach to cooking, thanks so much for doing these videos. I've looked at many Rogan Josh recipes and a lot of them use yoghurt but you don't can you educate me as to why not. thanks for your time, Annie x
Not only looks good it tastes good, a member of the family walking in last night with a bag of tomatoes and nothing to eat with them, then I watched this video, although not a curry I would normally eat, I made it to your recipe and it was great (4 portions) keeper coming:-)
Cheers Christopher - Im wondering if i can drop the Sunday name down to Chris? Up to you as they say. Thanks for your comment really appreciate it mate. I've just made a curry which i do advise you to make. will be uploaded maybe tomorrow - I've made it for many years and i think its one of the best curries ever -and highly underrated as a bir. Cheers again mate
Looks delicious Rik. I've been doing a bit of Rogan Josh lately. Mainly lamb and more traditional or hybrid BIR. This BIR version is now on the to do list, which is getting quite long.
@@BackyardChef Not too cheap over here either at the moment. I remember driving around the country as a kid and there were thousands of sheep everywhere you looked. Australian was built on the sheep's back is what was said. Now it's coal mines. Can't eat coal. Chicken shortage in the UK.
@@gdlivo3353 I said to my Gang in the UK there would be a food shortage after all that's gone on - the bug - flood etc - They all said no - we will see - all the crops that haven't been picked - fruit etc all the wastage - it has to have a knock on effect. Here in Asia its started too - There are delivery shortages to supermarkets now - to which they are NOT covering on any news. Its all changing - learning how to cook and shove some grub in the freezer for that rainy day is getting closer unfortunately.
Hi Paul - pre cooked chicken can be done a couple of ways - you can cook in oil with some spices or you can boil in water with some spices make sure you have turmeric in the water the chicken will be yellow. If making a small batch of chicken at home - just cook the chicken in oil with a little mixed or curry powder its the same result. The chicken will only take on the slightest of flavour. Best, Rik
Now that's the Rogan Josh I remember having In a York BIR in the 1990's...super!
That looked amazing, I will have to make it the way you did. Thank you , I am loving your channel Rik 👌👍

At least you are cooking mate - keeping busy! Love cooking with Lamb but as you know its an expensive meat in Thailand - imported from Aus and NZ.
