I had big doubts even after seeing good reviews for this thing. It's perfect! All i wanted was a setup to keep my wheel from ripping off my desk with high FFB while drifting. Pretty comfy too!
After spending $1700 on a Fanatec setup (around the CSL DD) I foolishly planned to desk-mount it since my desk takes up about half the space in my room. Not wanting to spend another $1700 on a rig that wouldn't fit in my room I bought this. It's way larger than I thought, which is a bit annoying since I'm tight on space. Hi i wanted to ask, did u also have problems with this "latch" supporting back of the seat? They don't really hold the seat and are useless for me (and im comfortably in the weight and height supported range). I really have no idea what they would be used for honestly.
How to use this with Handbrake and Gear shifter? Have same handbrake as you in this vid but my logitech gear shifter doesn’t fit with the handbrake. I’ve seen the Thrustmaster TH8A attached to the Thrustmaster Sparco in other videos does that combo work with this?
What the idea height from the ground the television needs to be enjoy this racing sim. I’m planning on getting this and my current setup puts the base of my TV 12-13 inches off the ground
Honestly at this point save your money and use your desk and a computer chair. Then buy the GT Omega Titan or the alike. If you’re limited on space again save your money and just use a desk and chair. My friend has this and the middle of the seat comes up on any braking.
I’m looking to get one of those bass shaker things which one would you recommend for the gt lite and when I get it I’m going to weld extra bar or bars to mount them.

@@sebastianbaca6809 no I wouldn't. It's not one bit comfortable and if you plan on putting it away after using it then be prepared to spend about 5 minutes or more unfolding it because of the way it folds and unfolds. Also it's not compact. Even fully folded it takes up a lot of room.
I actually ordered a playseat challenge this evening to replace this thing. I'm going to reuse the pedal part from the next level racing on the playseat though. The pedal mount is way better with the next level racing GT lite
@@sebastianbaca6809 I've got TWO. Ultra comfortable. It is not that portable, but I have transported it my car a few times.
Ir does not flex, at all, when using the straps as suggested by manufacturer.
I have a Fanatec DD Pro 8nm with loadcells. No issue at all.
The playseat challenge, tho more portable, is way more of a compromise.
1:17 2 weeks ago when we had lans at friends place
I don’t have any of those :(
I had to work 6 hours out of town on nightshift for 3 months I brought my stuff with me
just a quick question you have soo many rigs and i was wondering i can have one
Hi i wanted to ask, did u also have problems with this "latch" supporting back of the seat? They don't really hold the seat and are useless for me (and im comfortably in the weight and height supported range). I really have no idea what they would be used for honestly.
I think those latched are for storing it up, not 100% sure though
Buying this specifically for gt7 vr
How to use this with Handbrake and Gear shifter? Have same handbrake as you in this vid but my logitech gear shifter doesn’t fit with the handbrake. I’ve seen the Thrustmaster TH8A attached to the Thrustmaster Sparco in other videos does that combo work with this?
What the idea height from the ground the television needs to be enjoy this racing sim. I’m planning on getting this and my current setup puts the base of my TV 12-13 inches off the ground
TV size matters also. You need the horizon line on your game to be as "Eye Level" as possible for the best experience. Hope this helps😁
Honestly at this point save your money and use your desk and a computer chair.
Then buy the GT Omega Titan or the alike. If you’re limited on space again save your money and just use a desk and chair.
My friend has this and the middle of the seat comes up on any braking.
Because I’m actually thinking about getting it
Buy it I just got it and it’s worth it💯
Got’em Got‘em!
i would buy the playseat challenger
I’m looking to get one of those bass shaker things which one would you recommend for the gt lite and when I get it I’m going to weld extra bar or bars to mount them.
how high up does the wheel sit (inches) my tv is elevated about 28" from the ground but i would like to have it relatively aligned with the wheel
Is there any space to put a hand break?
What game are you playing in VR?
5:11 Put some type of weight on the bars to keep it steadier. 20lb'er would do.
That's a nice setup for the money. I went bigger with a GT Omega Art simulator. See you on track sometime. :)
Good suggestion 👍
Hmm..I often wanted to race when I'm at the beach...
Can you install the handbrake AND shifter at the same time?
I think that u should give me one bcz I'm early... AGAIN
Great vid
Glad you enjoyed 🤣
Nice I also use playseat
I'm 6'2 and thin. I am selling this. After many pillows for support the seat is horrible. I am getting a permanent setup with a real chair. Just a warning if anyone tall is wondering
Is it good with Thrusmaster t300 RS GT?
I have been in the situation where I have to bring my sim with me it’s a pain so I’m really thinking of this upgrading from the gt omega rig
Does it come with a steering wheel?
good video :)
Thanks Enrique!
@@OCRacing Thanks to you because you give us the information and entretaiment. Hope you remember me when you get famous
@@enriquealfaroaguilar8541 I'll remember all the OG's
What about the playseat challenge? Isn't it cheaper and better?
I dunno, never used it :p
@@OCRacing is like the same thing but cheaper and it folds more. Maybe you should buy it idk xd
I love my play seat challenge
There's a good comparison video by Karl Gosling, which convinced me to get the Playseat. Just search "GT Lite VS Playseat Challenge".
@@kurtwashere i saw it. that is what im saying. isnt it better?
Will this work with the fanatec DPD pro wheel and pedal set up
Yup.ive a DD Pro 8 nm and loadcells.
Strap used to stabilise rig. Not really needed, IMO, but NLR have a video up showing how to do this
Is this rig good for short people like 4 foot 8
The real highlight of this video are the Ferrari shoes…
I really need to stop doing this free promotion for them smh
@@OCRacing 😂
Yo nice video, question can u fit a handbrake and a shifter on there?
Because I’m actually thinking about getting it
Unfortunately it’s only one or the other
@@OCRacing is there an option to buy another platform to put the shifter on the left side maybe? and btw ty for responding huge fan and im about to buy the g29 shifter mods!
bc of you
@@gold_king_ pretty sure you could attach another plate on the left hand side. Not sure if they sell one however.
@@OCRacing alright do you have maybe any alturnative or maybe u can suggest me a rig for 500 euros max (incl the stearig weel) it would help me alot since your channel is based on that and you're more a proffesonal than me. i am playing on pc but i have a ps4 with a psvr so id rather have ps4 compatible equipment than xbox. Cheers! (and again ty for responding and big fan!)
Hi do you know if the F-GT lite can mount a CSL DD?
I have a g923 and my shifter always hits the adjuster thing under the shifter/handbrake mount. Has anyone else had this problem?
I'm having a problem with the seat as you know the seat can go back when you applie force and when you do not it goes into the original position but my does not go back into the original position does anyone know what to do
What track is that in the beginning of the video????
Do you think it can actually support up to 130kg..? I'm afraid I'd break the entire set up 😕
In theory, yes. However, it’s important to keep in mind your height, posture, width, etc. If you’re seriously considering it, I would consider reaching out to NLR’s support team for clarification. Or I would also recommend looking at their other offerings which may be better suited.
@@OCRacing thank you so much for replying!
Can I get a link to where you got your shoes? LOL There Nice!
Somewhere in the puma store 😅 they should really be paying me for all this free advertisement
I agree!! They owe you a check.
Does this support a csl dd?
What was the name of the track on the intro?
the material is alcantara
is there any good way to attach both handbrake(preferably thrustmaster handbrake) and a shifter on the shifter mount for the gt-lite?
yes i have wanted to take it with me😂
Was about to order this but that lifting off the ground when you apply brakes looks like a deal breaker. Hard braking is constant in racing.
Just ordered the F-GT Lite from Amazon. Wheelie Bar included and able to change seating for Formula-1!!!🤪
that is not an issue go resarch the thing can be eleminated easy and you get a strap in the box you can use to get the wheel stand get more stable and use havier direct drives to no problem. its an amazing simulator for these money its worth every penny. i have an F-Gt Lite
@@saviola01 I got it anyway. It does flex on heavy braking in the sim, and flexes a lot overall. It’s not a major issue but for someone with a DD wheel over 8nm I would not recommend it. I like it a lot.
Just put a weight on it, 20-25lbs will do
