I still don't know what's funnier. The fact that Simely saint was assulted by animals in all sorts of ways (crane kick cat), or that they all went back to their cages after like nothing happened.
Assistants in a nutshell: Phoenix Wright: Spirit Medium Miles Edgeworth: Thief Apollo Justice: Magician Hershel Layton: Apprentice Athena Cykes: Criminal Prosecutor Ryunosuke Naruhodo: Judicial Assistant
@JonathanRiverafrickinnice555 well Apollo and phoenix both have Athena an actual lawyer helping them in cases and that's what Simon does for Athena in soj (susato is the only judicial assistant specificly but even she worked as a lawyer in a case as well with a authorital figure helping her out)
Love Calisto Yew/Shih-na’s breakdowns. First time around she has a good laugh, gets bored, then whips out the glock. Second time around, her laughter is what exposes her, leaving her with that manic laughter. Good stuff.
Sorry Capcom, Knight's "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" doesn't beat Knightley's "MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMPPPPPPPPPPPPPHHHHH!!" Fits better with the face. 😂 Well, at least Roland's - I mean Laguarde's “HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMMMMMM!!" was preserved, nice there. 👍😊
Edgeworth is not the one to blame, it’s “localizers” who instead of translating game simply to English without any changes, completely destroyed its context, jelly doughnut style
@@zawarudo1041It's actually pretty tired always bringing up the 'Remember when they called Onigiri doughnuts' 4kids bs every time localization gets involved bc like it or not a game, especially one like Ace Attorney would make zero sense translated one to one, unless you go the fansub route of needing to add an additional note or glossary every time a name pun is used or something contextual that would only make sense if you knew Japanese was mentioned, which seems like a hassle just bc someone confused a jabot for a cravat. It's a skill to have to marry the localization choices made in the first game with the others in the series(Like having this be an alternate LA where Japanese immigrants were allowed to settle during the gold rush to explain Kurain village) without causing big rifts or confusion.
Its a unique animation of an antagonistic character giving up the fight. Yes it is weird to call young Kay an antagonist, but she did spend a part of her case just sneaking up on Edgeworth to kick him. Plus Gumshoe works against Edgeworth to hide her involvement in the case.

I’m gonna miss the Simpsons reference in Excelsius’ breakdown
I'm sorry but what the hell is Excelsius Winner, that is the most forced name I ever heard (besides SoJ)
They kept the Simon but added e to the middle
Saint? Yeah it kinda fits since he looks innocent at first till....
@deductionsdiary105 i mean its clever. Excelsius is both a pun on over achiver and celsius as in his fascination with fire.
I still don't know what's funnier. The fact that Simely saint was assulted by animals in all sorts of ways (crane kick cat), or that they all went back to their cages after like nothing happened.
Lmao I forgot that Simeons breakdown was basically every animal in the circus beating the crap out of him
In all seriousness, Kay blowing her nose in a cravat is something a kid can be very likely to do in a situation like this.
Assistants in a nutshell:
Phoenix Wright: Spirit Medium
Miles Edgeworth: Thief
Apollo Justice: Magician
Hershel Layton: Apprentice
Athena Cykes: Criminal Prosecutor
Ryunosuke Naruhodo: Judicial Assistant
Hershel Layton: Eliza Thornberry
Layton has two assistant actually
Ryunosuke the only one with an actual assistant 😂

The side by side of Yew and Shih-na laughing with Confess the Truth playing always gets me.

1:57 Edgeworth, that is not a cravat. A cravat is just a fancy name for your standard necktie like this 👔. What you're wearing is a jabot.
Edgeworth is not the one to blame, it’s “localizers” who instead of translating game simply to English without any changes, completely destroyed its context, jelly doughnut style

11:22 how and where did excelius winner get his beard back after it was burned into a crisp by his previous breakdown?
Isn't it part of A Turnabout Foresaken that his beard is fake? He probably has spares somewhere.
Just had to go down to the wig vault and get a new one
It was a wig remember? He probably had more
Back to the lab again
it was fake iirc, he probably had a spare
6:16 wait, that aint no normal samurai dog... its got the red spot, which means...
Leblanc really had a Florida Category 5 moment
When the break is down
holy shit guy fugs from the popular series guy fugs
when I say, break it down to me, this is what I mean
Can You Do All Breakdowns - Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, Please?
I don't think blowing her nose on a cravat counts as a breakdown, but it's still funny.
