@@dangerdean9066 yeah, forgot about him (i guess the apple doesnt fall far from the tree, or in this case the tree doesn’t far from the apple) because they’re both forgettable
I like them both a lot but it would be interesting if Susato was Kazuma’s rival! But with Van Zieks dead brother and Kazuma’s dead father, it’s really funny to watch them both argue lol
Ashley Graydon's is my favorite. Of all the breakdowns, he's the only one who snaps and actually attacks the person next to him. And he actually had Gregson's feet off the ground if you look. Graydon was one of my favorite characters
LOL I love how Gotts gives away the coin to the balloon salesman at 11:43 and then you just see Gina in the corner playing with a coin and smirking, I think I know where she got that from...
Stronghart’s breakdown is my favorite breakdown of the entire AA series. It’s so over the top, has a reference to Gant, symbolizes his fall from the pedestal (literally), and law enforcement bringing him to justice. It also took 2 entire cases to take him down so seeing him break apart in such a dramatic and over the top fashion makes me smile
there’s more symbolism to it. stronghart has made a circus of the justice system in britain, as shown by the scales overweighting for his judgment. He has ordered to kill 16+ people, after all. But using what’s left of the law, as symbolized by the broken scales falling, ryunosuke brings stronghart to an end. possibly the best breakdown in the whole franchise
I love how Mael's first breakdown is a callback to Damon Gant from the original trilogy. Doing the exact same kind of high-speed deranged applause. Which makes sense as they both share the same overall theme of corrupt individuals that where seemingly untouchable through their role within the judicial system.
Stronghart’s final breakdown is definitely my favorite. How he ends up falling from his place as the enforcer of justice, to being engulfed in the flames of his guilt.
It’s almost like those associated directly with Stronghart get super dramatic breakdowns. Note that Seishiro Jigoku, also associated with Stronghart, dramatically lifts the pieces of the stand up. The next most dramatic breakdowns after that are Nikolina Pavlova, the second round of Taketsuchi Auchi, and William Shamspeare, and all were incredibly subdued compared to what breakdowns could be.
I fucking love Kazuma's breakdown. It's just so heartbreaking. He's made it all this way for his revenge, just to be stopped at the last moment. That shaking arm animation just before he slams his fist again is so good. Fucking phenomenal character
1:17 I remember seeing that for the first time and screaming: "That's not even possible! HOW?!" Still one of the best breakdowns out there. And then as soon I post that, I see Magnus McGilded. Yeah, that one was even better.

SPOILERS FOR TGAA2: The fact that Gregson gets choked in Graydon's breakdown is pretty disturbing considering what happens to him later on. I wonder if that was intentional foreshadowing
Kazuma has only been concerned with the corrupted justice system and proving Ryunosuke's innocence he literally didn't give a "f" about anything else at any point since he was just nerved at how Ryunosuke was about to be sacrificed for some random English lady l, he's likely dealt with multiple other breakdowns after ending testimonies so this one makes not much difference but rather is just a delay to what he wanted to see. "Get a move on" is likely what he was hoping for
I like how Barok’s breakdown is slowly built up throughout the game. His suffering and pain increases throughout the second game and at the final case he is at his last straw, he snaps when the truth about the Professor is known to him. He breaks. As you slowly go closer towards the truth, his actions become more agitated and shows his mental pain. Then he breaks-down upon knowing the identity of the Professor. I like how built up it is. It is short but effective, I adore the 360 rotating camera angle while he breaks down further. You never expect him to break down because of how calm, collected and put together he is in court so his breakdown comes as a surprise and is rewarding for how hostile he is to the player. It is punishment for his racism, as his blame towards the Japanese was ultimately in the wrong because they didn’t contribute to the Professor. One of the best breakdowns and one of the best characters.
My favorite thing about the GAA:1 breakdowns is that the other people in the room acknowledge, "Wow, that was weird." 1:243:39 but by GAA:2 they embrace it 7:469:07

They need to make a TGAA 3. Make Iris or Kazuma the main character and show a breakdown for when someone finally tells Iris who her parents were. You know she'd be calling Van Zieks Uncle Reaper in that game
