Nice job that fella tidy pipe work and lagging. Balancing valves and an isolator by the cylinder. All mappressed 👌 no hot works. 😉 I would put a non return valve on though especially being a school.
I am not knocking your work it is very tidy but do you use a pipe benders because I count 12 x 90 degree bends on one line sweeping bends are much better and less fittings to leak.
Informative video. Q: can two loops be made on a single secondary pump? I ask because we need to feed two ends of a long building, otherwise it would result in a single loop of approx 65m. All new install, all new pipework.
Great video. A layman question... is a non return valve needed on the pipe work before the pump enters the cylinder? If so do you know why? I've not been able to find the answer to this via Google! Thanks!
Hey mate good video ….so if I’m installing a secondary return any pipe work would just connect into the hot feed anywhere on the main hot circuit or does it have to connect near the services, bathrooms etc ? And in terms of the pump what kind of timer would you be installing ? Sorry for the long winded question I’m still learning all this
Cheers bud. It’s good practice to tee into the hot pipe within 1 metre of each outlet it’s feeding. Some sec pumps will have built in timers, Grundfos/DAB do one 👍🏼
Wicked well explained videos better than most in commercial set ups …keep it up and Best wishes 🍾
Nice job , all that space to work in is a plumbers dream ticket...... 👍
Absolutely well explained and video I’m just leaner and I learnt a lot thanks for sharing mate well done 👍🏼❤️🙂

How would be the best way to set the pump on a schedule?
Does the DHW return have a bypass to the DHW flow. Otherwise the pump will run most of the time against closed valves?

I hear what you’re saying but for this specific system, using fittings we didn’t feel would restrict/limit the system compared to using the bender.
I thought secondary return tee'd into hot near to furthest sink ,bath etc

Yes two loops would be fine using this particular pump.

It is not essential just good practice as far as I am aware. Purely to allow one way circulation only

Where's the check valve bro?
