Im using the power surge build but no matter what i do my weapons max dmg is around 40k to 50k per magazin even tho i calibrated my weapon to a good rank

It's not meta that is for sure, I have recently found a couple of mods that spread the surge that makes it spread the power surge to other enemies. Which makes it good for clearing groups at refineries, even then frost vortex might do better

I go MPS7, SOCR AND BATON build not crit and dmg but elemental damage the damage is really good

Surge socr and 3pc shelter 2 heavy w mayfly.
Looking at getting gas mask, and possibly the shotty not sure how the synergy is with the mask and both guns

Yeah I like to have a sniper, which is why I haven't done socr + shotgun. I don't think it makes sense to have shotgun/socr at the same time
