    So here is how-to: build a ramp, This is the same ramp that me and tom cardy used in the last upload called ''THE KICKER RAMP'' it was cool to see so many of you guys asking how to build the ramp so here it is!
    You'll need:
    Screwdriver
    screws
    1 sheet of 18mm OSB
    1 sheet of 12mm ply
    12 2x4'' timber 1183mm
    Ramp dimensions:
    3ft tall
    6ft 3inches long
    8ft radius
    ENJOY!

    Hey Sam nice video. I built a 4 ft tall ramp with an 11 ft radius and it's currently sitting in my garage during these winter months. It's all finished except for the plywood being attached, I was able to attatch the 12 mm play wood just to the top but it would not bend enough to screw it in. What kind of plywood did you use and how did you bend it?

  • @Mr850man

    sweet video, if you put the 2x4 the other way around (short side supporting the plywood) the ramp will be stiffer.

    • @SamPilgrim
      @SamPilgrim  7 лет назад

      Doesn't make a difference and you need double the amount of wood.

    • @Mr850man
      @Mr850man 7 лет назад

      well, the moment of inertia of the 2x4 is 4 times bigger the way I propose (it will bend 1/4 of what it bends now), but being thinner you might need to put them closer so you might be right. Time to ditch the books and start experimenting!

    Sam, nice one 👍I made one a few years back similar to yours. Yours was an easier build wish I'd done that. Do you find that when you are hitting the ramp at speed that the cross members hold in place just being held by the screws?

  • @lewisapplin6844

    would a 10ft radius be right for a 8ftLx6ftH kicker?

      mt bmx sounds right. But you will be able to tell after you draw the line. Maybe draw 10ft and 11ft and see the difference
