We Built A Mini Mini Ramp!

- My friend had a cozy little spot to build a mini ramp, so we did! Since we didn't have much space to work with, we mad a ramp that was two feet tall, six feet wide, and seventeen feet long (the flat bottom is six feet, decks are two feet, and the transition radius is 5' 9"). The total cost was about $450.

Awesome ramp! Very inspiring. Thanks for sharing!
Very cool video and ramp!! I like the color too!! Thanks
there is a much simpler way to draw transitions. don't use string, or awkward 2x4's, use wire/cable. any kind that doesn't stretch. just keep it taut and keep the drawing end of the wire close to the tip of your pencil. the 2x4 method allows for more movement of the pencil than this method. this method is better and it's really easy.
Nice vibes.
Well done 👏
Please continue making content I just watched your screen print video and im in love with those decks!! I subscribed and now im hooked please keep the videos coming!!!
This vid was relaxing to watch. Good shit bro! Looks fun!
Great ramp! Just a reminder, Home Depot rents tools by the day!
Do you have plans available? I love the way you managed to cut out all four transitions from a single sheet, wondering what the dimensions are to achieve that.
I really like your videos. They have a nice format and flow. I also like how you cracked 1k subscribers on a handful of videos.
Thank you very much!
So cool!
this rips.i love it
Cool micro ramp, but even with a 5 ft 9 inch radius, that looks too mellow since the rampnis only 2 feet high. I think that radius would be fine for a 2.5 to 3 5 feet high ramp, but for 2 foot, a 4 foot to 4.5 foot radius would be more fun, and in thst tight space, you would also have a little more flat bottom.
Hey
Just wanted to
Say this video really helped me
Out. I wanted to build a mini
I’m my basement for my
Youngest son and I. I’m still working on adding the Masonite , buts it’s ridable and it’s a blast!
Glad it could be of help! Your ramp looks fun!
I just saw the video... and it's pretty clear you didn't make that for your son... you were having too much fun. 🤣🤣🤣
thank you for uploading just like i asked :)
I have a question how long are your quarter pipe plywood cut outs? I'm confused is it 5'6'' or stright 6ft
The ramp looks great, the thing I don't understand unless you where under strict space constraints why wouldn't you optimize the material used and ramp size to minimum 8 ft wide therefore your not wasting the extra 2 FT from the 4x8 sheets, also a 6 ft wide mini is pretty dang narrow
Thank you
Man, great job. You post the material list ?
Wish I could remember exactly but it was like 30 2x4s, 3 sheets of Masonite, 7-8 sheets of plywood, pipe, screws, and paint
That smith tho
Sondo!!!!
How long did the Masonite last outside
It will need to be replaced from time to time, but if you keep the ramp covered with a tarp when not in use, you can get a year or two, maybe more, out of it
Why 11/32 over 15/32? Was it cost?
In this case not really. Typically you would use 3/8" ply in this application (for the first two layers, before masonite) so the 11/32" plywood we got was close enough. 15/32", which is nearly 1/2", would be more difficult to bend to the transition.
@@marshmallow_island not really. I am using 15/32 and putting the ply down by myself. I am skipping the Masonite. I am just going to use exterior paint I have for free and save the cost. I did like the use of space. I used your idea for that. Much thanks for the inspiration.
That was just $450 in material? Before "covid lumber price increase" (however that happened 🤷♂️) I would believe that, but 7 months ago? Figured that'd be atleast $1000 in material
There was a window of time where lumber prices in our area went back down after the first price jump. The plywood prices were still pretty inflated but 2x4s were down to about $3, at the time. They are back up again tho :(
i wish I had a bit of wood to build a little grindbox
For a small project you can ask around to maybe get scraps for free to use!
