    what about No CT scan at all! Lot of these scans are unnecessary!

    • @DrSusanBrown
      @DrSusanBrown  Год назад

      Totally agree all unnecessary radiation and unnecessary CT scan should be avoided, but the times do you spell important

    • @DrSusanBrown
      @DrSusanBrown  Год назад

      Yes! If you can avoid them and only when necessary. It is always good to think about protection from additional cell damage.

    The mention of certain foods where we could obtain these specific minerals from would be helpful. Are you suggesting that we buy all the different ones?

    • @DrSusanBrown
      @DrSusanBrown  2 года назад

      Karen - the protocol to protect from radiation damage consists of a series of antioxidants. If you want food sources you can google the food sources for these antioxidants. But for radiation protection, you need very high levels of these antioxidants, impossible to obtain from food, in form of supplementation.
      You can start here with our blog on radiation protection. ecs.page.link/eoZGn

    I am currently in chemo treatment. I get ct scans every 6 weeks plus brain mri every 3 months. My oncologist tells me not to take any antioxidants while under going chemo treatments. Do you think it’s ok to take vitamin C and Alpha Lipoic acid during chemo treatment ?
    I also now have severe bone detestation in my hip from one of the chemo drugs I had. Please help 😢
    Sorry it’s bone deterioration, called Avascular Necrosis in my knee , shoulder and elbow. How do you regenerate bone ?

    • @DrSusanBrown

      The Alkalini C has a citrus taste so you want to add it to water and drink it pretty quickly as it will oxidize. It is highly activated as each cell is neutralized and you want to take it it's highest potency.

    How do feel about yearly mammograms, dr brown?.... as far as radiation.

    • @DrSusanBrown
      @DrSusanBrown  3 месяца назад +1

      It's a good precaution to get mammograms and it is hard to fully avoid radiation in this lifetime. Here is a blog and video on how you can prepare your body for radiation www.betterbones.com/testing/protect-bone-from-radiation-xrays-scans/

    Does this Alkalini-C have everything you mentioned or is that just the C? Thank you.

    • @DrSusanBrown
      @DrSusanBrown  4 года назад +1

      Hi Krista, the Alkalini-C is just the fully buffered ascorbate powder (vitamin C). The other antioxidants have to be bought separately.

    Thanks for this! Im due to have a cat scan tomorrow and its all going too fast. I might see if I can do this first, or at least take high amounts of vit c afterwards
    Im glad I came across this. Will this help protect from the contrast dye too? I guess thats a mainly separate issue?

    • @DrSusanBrown
      @DrSusanBrown  Год назад +1

      Hello Eureka,
      This will help limit the DNA damage from the catscan. If you cannot do the total protocol 5 days prior to the catscan, be sure to take plenty of Vitamin C after the scan.
      I recommend our professional grade Vitamin C which you may want to use in the future.
      We recommend Alkaline For Life: 🌱Plant-based, Pharmaceutical Grade Products, shop here: alkalineforlife.com/collections/alkaline-for-life

      @@DrSusanBrown Thankyou so much for your reply. I had my ct scan four days ago and made sure I did this protocol you talked about for 4 and a half days (as long as I had), beforehand. Im now into day 4 of this protocol after the scan. Yes, I have also increased the vit c component afterwards. I felt so much better about having this scan, doing the protocol. I want to say thankyou! I got the results of my scan yesterday, (which was looking for any evidence of secondary cancer). The test came back all clear! There is also a good chance I may not have a primary (complex ovarian cyst). I am really glad I took these steps, to minimise radiation damage. I plan to avoid ct scans as much as possible, but this protocol helped me both physically and mentally. Thanks again.
