I think I found the secret to installing the friggin caster wheels! I put a few drops of oil that came with the shredder on the shaft of the wheel and was able to get them all in finally.
Thank you commentors for your help! I couldn't get it in even with the oil so I called my dad over. By the powers of prayer, my dad was able to force the casters in.

You have to use a lot of pressure on the wheels to get them to go in. Took be 30 minutes to set up.
I was able to turn the unit upside down. Twist the wheels, applying pressure as well, and they popped right in.
... How the fuck did you get the wheels on that? I've been at this shit for over an hour and still can't get it on.
Hold the ring up, and shove down. It should click into place.
Wow. I just unboxed mines and it didn't come in the product box. It just came packed brand new in the Fellows mailing box.
I used a hammer to get the wheels in. Took me like 5 secs.

I turned the base upside down, held the ring up and beat it with a shoe. They went right in. Maybe they should include aq shoe?
After I broke a couple of nails, I tried your technique, and it I worked. I hammered with a rubber mallet. Thanks!
