Nope, it only does microcutting. You can't switch between cross-cut, microcut, and stripcut. You need a different machine

It's funny/absurd/bizarre how americans can turn a privacity need (only about papers, because NSA, CIA and FBI has 30 eyes on them) in a commercial need. And in five colour, again, five colours, they all work the same, but we have five colours here for any room, like for the kitchen i'd like the white one, or for the family room there's the beautiful golden bronze accents one, or for the office, the very taky gray to go with the computer. In what parallel reality do they live?

Because we Americans live in a marketing-driven and data-analytic culture directed by cynical elites who adhere to a neoliberal, Ayn Rand-inflected socio-economic orthodoxy of profit-maximizing, vulgar self-actualization, and uninterrupted economic growth. If offering something as banal as a paper-shredder in several market-tested appealing colors increases demand by one marginal unit, then by golly it will be done. It is not a parallel reality. It is reality, and it is infectious.
It's so people have a greater chance of finding _one_ that will blend in where they intend to have it. In other words, less chance they rather buy a different brand from a different merchant that blends in better. If that's the settling factor after all else.
