Start eating 10000 calories a day. Train like a mad man. Sleep. Stretch. Inject steroids. And you might get to half the weight he lifts. A dunno. Worth a try.
I caught myself cheering out loud when Brian lifted the 1,015 twice & the 1,065. Amazing drive & discipline. My question for you is where's your cape?(You're obviously a superhero). **Peace**
I love how Thor pulls 1061 from 18” 2 days ago then this come out at 1065 I know Brian’s was with bands but it’s still cool to see the competition! Keep up the good work Brain! I’m rooting for you!
Stone Saathoff Thor's lift was Ohio deadlift bar 20kg Rogue wagon wheel plates 2x45 Clips 0.8 pounds Red plates 14x25kg Blue plates 2x20kg Yellow plates 2x15kg Total = 440kg +90.8lb Grand total = 1061 pounds

Brian's getting damn near my level strength and size wise!! I'm a hulking, studly young monster about 5'6.4" and 125.652 lbs. My max bench press is a collosal 112.675 lbs, my max deadlift is 123.5 lbs and most impressively my max curl on the straight bar is 60.2 lbs!!!! IM... A.... BEEEEEEAAASSST!!!!

Depends if they're going for 100Rm or for most reps. If they're going for 100Rm then yes i belive we will see weights between 480kg-510kg, they're most likely going to pull of the ground( not an 18 inch deadlift like in this video) which is much harder.
I believe Brian will eventually pull 1200lbs in regular deadlift because of his confidence and smooth effortless pulls. He said in a video awhile ago he had never reached his max deadlift.
I like videos like these going out to show the young lifters how you actually need to train if you want results none of this worrying about your fragile nervous system bullshit, just out working everyone like it always has been.
Great video, unfortunately its going to get claimed by the barely audible music in the background that nobody came here to listen to and provided nothing to the video.
Looks like he has an easy time locking it out after he gets it of the ground. I think if he focuses on the early part of the lift he will be unbeatable. Haters: I'm not saying his early part of the lift is bad by any means. Just that it looks like that's where there is most room to get stronger. He is the best active strongman in my opinion.
Gosh, it must be so fun to be that strong. It makes you want to work out even more, which makes you stronger, which makes you want to work out even more........... infinity.
The Unholy Messiah will be really interesting to see them compete in something outside of wsm and asc. thro's deadlift from the floor probably still is stronger, from 18 inch this might be different
Brian I wanted to know what I should do to help me get a heavier deadlift in? I'm doing 315 pounds at 15 and would like to beat my school record which is 600. Now 315 is what I'm doing with 10 reps, so a max rep could be a little bit more. Also do you have any tips or workout plans to help me with my squats and bench press?
I get so into these videos, I try to hype Brian up for the lefts he does; I’ll be sitting on my bed and under my breath I’ll be like “ come on!!! Let’s do this!!!!” As if it actually helps him😆. But I really like all that you do, and you have inspired my to become for physically active, even though I’m still in high school 😂
Got 2 questions. Have you ever shit yourself while training? Second question, why not train with a lower deficit so when you do go compete you know what it already feels like and it will be higher. I just want to know cause i never know where to put pins on bar so i can do rack pulls cause i got a shitty lockout
He does a 385 lb deadlift faster than I stand up normally
Yeah for real. That's my my max he started his warm up with. Goddammit.
All these jokes have been said before

Lol
Yeah but have you ever seen Brian do a pull up? 😜

He didn't disclose the weight, how do you figure that number for thors?
Hafthor has nothing on shaw
How much resistance do the bands make?
Stone Saathoff
Thor's lift was
Ohio deadlift bar 20kg
Rogue wagon wheel plates 2x45
Clips 0.8 pounds
Red plates 14x25kg
Blue plates 2x20kg
Yellow plates 2x15kg
Total = 440kg +90.8lb
Grand total = 1061 pounds
I think it's just an awesome coincidence
This is what makes a champion. Complete 100% focus and energy on every single fucking rep, including the warm ups.
4:20 maybe something that would help Phil Heath?
Lmao!!
Oof
I'll be suing you for libel, blasphemy, and pain/suffering on behalf of Phil ;)

Bman I love the fact that your videos are crisp and clear! keep working hard bro
Love your approach to training. Even with lighter weight you treat the weight with respect and always make sure your form is proper. Respect that!

WSM Dubai is definitely Brian’s it’s time to bring home another gold let’s go champ!!!
Amazing video. You going nuts B. Keep up the good work
How much weight are they going to pull for deadlift in dubai?
Not sure but going off trends if they're doing several reps they're probably doing like 370-390kg.
@@pepsicat if he is pulling 100kg over that in this video trust me the weight in Dubai is gonna be well over 500kg probably
The world record is 536kg by Eddie Hall. It’s gonna be 520+. The website says there will be a record attempt there too, likely 540kg

He literally said they're pulling off 18inches. That's the sole reason he's training using it. Did you not even watch the video?
POWERFUL as ever, i love the flour clap part and i hope he go back to his old beard style, this beard style mekes him look older
I got goosebumps when he Lifted 1000+pounds BG sound" We ready"😍😍😍
Looking forward to Brian taking Dubai and then going on to Arnold & WSM victories in 2019. He’s one Bad Ass weight lifting man.

Nice response to Thor's 18 inch lift few days ago, quite same weight.
brian shaw is my motivation to fuckin lift dude. this guy is a legend
An absolute bear. Just incredible
Very impressive sir! Keep up the good work and you should take the dead lift world record from Eddie.
I'm calling the shuffle he does to find correct positioning the "Shaw Shuffle" from now on.
I could watch this beast of a man lift heavy things all day....

Ready for Dubai? Yes I think so!

When your gym is so well equipped that you use Inch dumbells to attach bands
The poundage lifted here almost matches the year this music was made.
"Turn it up" booom
Hell yea Brian!!
