They are over pricing and giving discount. Recently I bought an ointment for 300 rs in MedPlus, but outside it is just 160 rs. Go for govt generic medicine shop. Or before buying enquire in 3 or more shops.
I have always supported MedPlus, but recently I purchased their Vitamin-D tablets (Cholecalciferol Capsules USP 60000 IU) because they offered a 50% discount. Previously, I used the doctor-prescribed brand Uprise 6K which contains the same molecules, and I've noticed a significant difference in quality between the two. The MedPlus tablets don't seem to meet the same standard. I'm unsure how MedPlus claims to maintain the same quality and produce these tablets in the same facility.
If u ask abt MedPlus from MedPlus person, he will definitely appreciate his own products. The interviewet should have asked abt MedPlus from their rival company/nies. Then only u will get a clear picture. It seems to be a promotional video only.

My diabetic center at chennai recommend use of generic medicine. So now I started purchasing from medplus east mada street Mylapore. If you compare with generic medicine shop promoted by govt medplus is almost same. I could get all my Medicine. But I request medplus try not to increase in future ( like GEO)

Is it fair on such a reputed Company . Customer has faith on MedPlus Brands but in reality it is not there, customers are being cheated in pricing for the same tablet, manufactured date same expiry date same, Manufactured by same company , marketed by same company, Shop is also same MedPlus. Let pricing be same on the above subject.

@theneer idaivelai. MedPlus is nothing but a D-mart in pharma field. The only difference is D-mart gives 40 %in a leading from brand where MedPlus gives 50% from their own brand in both the cases where the manufacturer cost is only 10 to 15%
Why not have a doctor in ur shops and get them to prescribe ur brands. 2ndly the service at ur branches needs much more improvement. 3. U can have a 24 hour shop one in every city 4. How abt employing senior citizens for counter and door delivery. Remember senior citizens are the big customers for medicines.

Reasons. 1) Customer taking treatment from a doctor on trust and he/she prefers to take prescribed medicines only. 2) when this customer enters in to medical shop, (a) first the counter person donot have any patience to explain this kindvof explanation. 3) Also first he disappointed like, we donot have this particular brand shall we give equilent to that particular medicine, simply customer will walkout. 3) some uneducated persons donot have knowledge to listen what he says. Discount will not compensate the trust.

I regularly take a combination of 3 medicines for BP. The difference in the price between Apollo and Medplus is around 400 less at Medplus. In a week's time my BP shot up to 180/110. Never take a risk of buying medicines at Medplus. The same with the generic medical shops also.

In medplus, lack of employees, too much time need to wait to get medicine, keep target minimum 500/- purchase means 10%, if more than 1000/- purchase discount given at high end. Forcing to buy useless shampoos, soaps, vitamin tablets etc., On the whole they need customers who are the permanent patients.

I have always supported MedPlus, but recently I purchased their Vitamin-D tablets (Cholecalciferol Capsules USP 60000 IU) because they offered a 50% discount. Previously, I used the doctor-prescribed brand Uprise 6K which contains the same molecules, and I've noticed a significant difference in quality between the two. The MedPlus tablets don't seem to meet the same standard. I'm unsure how MedPlus claims to maintain the same quality and produce these tablets in the same facility.

Let pricing be same on the above subject.

@theneer idaivelai. MedPlus is nothing but a D-mart in pharma field. The only difference is D-mart gives 40 %in a leading from brand where MedPlus gives 50% from their own brand in both the cases where the manufacturer cost is only 10 to 15%
Why not have a doctor in ur shops and get them to prescribe ur brands.
2ndly the service at ur branches needs much more improvement.
3. U can have a 24 hour shop one in every city
4. How abt employing senior citizens for counter and door delivery. Remember senior citizens are the big customers for medicines.

In medplus, lack of employees, too much time need to wait to get medicine, keep target minimum 500/- purchase means 10%, if more than 1000/- purchase discount given at high end. Forcing to buy useless shampoos, soaps, vitamin tablets etc., On the whole they need customers who are the permanent patients.
I have purchased medicine for stroke from Med+,and consumed regularly,but pain was more.But Med+ cheated diseased as advertised 80% discount.They issued not correct bill,collecting RS 100 instead of RS 50.
