    The 13.4” 4K monitor from Intehill is worth checking out. It’s a very well made monitor. I use it for classes and occasional gaming. I also picked up the FINPAC hard sleeve case. The 11.6” fits it like a glove.

      🤔 that could be interesting.
      I have a 13in OLED portable monitor, but I think I prefer something a bit larger if I’m going to use a second screen.

    Have you by chance tried 800p integer scaling with this monitor? Just curious how it looks.

    • @BarelyAverageDude
      @BarelyAverageDude  7 месяцев назад +1

      On this monitor 800p integer scaling looks similar to 1200p but with a bit more jagged edges. You can take the settings up slightly higher and get the same fps as 1200p, but to me it seemed slightly worse with such a large screen.

    Kinda hoping you reply because I’m struggling with this monitor.
    Did you need to side load specific amd drivers to get access to the free sync?
    I just get adrenaline telling me it’s not supported (despite me having it switched on via the screen menu)
    I’ve tried many usb c cables I even bought a specific cable that 100% should support it, uperfect themselves don’t know why lol but the fact you have it working I do wonder if you side loaded basic amd drivers
    I’m getting the refresh rate no problem just no free sync or hdr support

    • @BarelyAverageDude

      @@BarelyAverageDudeyup they advertise it as having the features and uperfect themselves can’t figure out why it’s not working.

    • @BarelyAverageDude
      @BarelyAverageDude  4 месяца назад

      It definitely does have freesync so I'm not sure what's wrong. I've tried it on many different devices and they all work.
      Maybe you have a defective unit. Maybe ask for a replacement. 🤷🏾‍♂️

    Bro does this Monitor charges the steam deck? Because steam deck have only 1 USB- C output. Will this monitor drain my steam deck battery while connected?

    • @BarelyAverageDude
      @BarelyAverageDude  2 месяца назад +2

      @@majorfps1341 the monitor itself will not charge the Deck, BUT it has a second USB C port that you can plug in a charger that will pass through power to the Deck and it will charge.
      So you have 1 USB C from the Deck to the monitor for display then another USB C from the monitor to a charger for charging.
      The monitor doesn't need to charge because it has no battery, it is powered by the connected device.
