The real context: My Way is so popular in Philippines it became one of the most played song on the karaoke. Unknowingly that they have picked the same song and there's actually multiple "My Way" in queu. Some fights goes out of hand resulting to fatalities as it usually happens in ktv bars.

last feb. i came home for a vacation and my sweet spot was, if my neighbors won't let me sleep, i can always fight back. there's always a reason to have a drinking party and karaoke.

It might be your last. But if it’s just a private party with friends then it’s fine, you can murder the song and still walk out of the building alive. 😂

I can confirm as a Filipino. People literally rent karaoke stands for about 3-5 days like every once in 1-2 weeks and they be singing at 2-3 AM when it’s Christmas Eve or New Years-

It only happened once (not really) Its just a myth. My way isnt cursed of anything. But who won't get annoyed at bad singing? "Reasonable" reasons why people got killed: No it isnt cursed but there are some reason and its pretty natural and realistic.but stupid. 1.people singing it over and over (Causing annoyance and majority of pinoys are always drunk and have guns) 2.bad singing (Same explanation with number 1) 3.Fighting over the song (Result of frustration causing the drunk guy to shoot the victim) No curses.just stupidness.

@@weirdnerd6841 From what I know, if you wanna sing "My Way", you have to do it properly. I've heard a few people singing it in karaoke bars, nothing happened to them since they sang it perfectly
I'm Filipino and we love music. When singing you have to sing in the right tune. There may be some incidents but it doesn't mean everyone who loves karaoke are willing to die for it.
In the Philippines singing in karaokes get people high that is why fighting is pretty common, the difference is the degree of fighting . The minimum is cursing , talking dirty or provocation . The maximum, i think is when a ramble happen and things or bottles are broken .😂😂😂 Its when the barangay office or tanods appeared ❤❤
How crazy? Crazy like inviting your girl friends and then make them over drunk and then have sex with them so tomorrow after then its nothing.. Crazy AF
Yep Ik, us Filipino’s are such karaoke lovers and music lovers! Like almost every Filipino house I’ve been to, there is at least one type of instrument there (Mainly the guitar or piano) and/or there is also a karaoke set.
My mother wouldn’t stop singing karaoke when I was younger. Whenever we went back to Philippines she would sing a lot with her friends. She never brought me with her again because I always complained when I came with her 😅 I was a small child so I wouldn’t know that it is rude to complain while they are singing karaoke. At least they didn’t get mad at me
most filipinos are indulgent with children, even when they're throwing tantrums... except maybe one's own parents and elders. when i was a kid and acted up, my mom would surreptitiously pinch my side, a hard, twisting sort of pinch that could leave a bruise. she would do this without even looking at me and like nobody else around notices although of course i'd flinch or jump. dammit, i really miss annoying her. but her friends wouldn't ever say a sharp word to either my brother or me when we misbehaved. they'd even spoil us, offering candy, and i'd smile at my mom as i accepted the sweets while she glowered at me or said "pssssssst!" to stop me.
hearing my neighbors across the street with their karaoke parties at night makes me scream internally. but I'd love to join them sometime, I'm filipino and never tried it

The only reason why the person got shoted because a gaurd was so annoyed at the singing and shot the person singing it.

Its actually just a myth.
Story:
1 dude was drunk in a bar and sang "My way" he sang it so badly the gaurd got annoyed and shot the dude.
No you wont die if you sing it badly.
It only happened once (not really)
Its just a myth.
My way isnt cursed of anything.
But who won't get annoyed at bad singing?
"Reasonable" reasons why people got killed:
No it isnt cursed but there are some reason and its pretty natural and realistic.but stupid.
1.people singing it over and over
(Causing annoyance and majority of pinoys are always drunk and have guns)
2.bad singing
(Same explanation with number 1)
3.Fighting over the song
(Result of frustration causing the drunk guy to shoot the victim)
No curses.just stupidness.
I think most ppl already knew that. (Unless you're dense or stupid AF, then you'll think it's real) It's pretty much just a superstition built over time.

I'm Filipino and we love music.
When singing you have to sing in the right tune. There may be some incidents but it doesn't mean everyone who loves karaoke are willing to die for it.
I'm willing to stake my life on my ability to sing My Way. Adding to my Philippines to-do list.
Nope. Dont do it. Even filipinos don't sing it. It's a farewell song for your soul.

Im. . Im Filipino and ahhhh, this is the first time I heard this my whole life in the Philippines.
In the Philippines singing in karaokes get people high that is why fighting is pretty common, the difference is the degree of fighting . The minimum is cursing , talking dirty or provocation . The maximum, i think is when a ramble happen and things or bottles are broken .😂😂😂 Its when the barangay office or tanods appeared ❤❤
thank you for visiting us fellow filipinos. we have VERY crazy parties here.

She never brought me with her again because I always complained when I came with her 😅
I was a small child so I wouldn’t know that it is rude to complain while they are singing karaoke.
