Great video Kurt and some fantastic information for someone starting out 👍🏻🎯
Thank you mate! Hopefully it's of help to some people 😁
I’ve just got into playing darts
I’ve bought a set of winmau Saracen 25g and a set of winmau mervyn king 24g from Argos
Similar darts when I come to throw them but totally different grips
I’ve got 2 set of brass darts one 21g and the other 28g
I actually use them for warm ups grouping my darts for a few minutes then go straight to my tungsten darts
Thanks for the great advice! I’ve been getting into darts lately and didn’t know which darts to begin with. Now I’ve got somewhat of an Idea which to buy! Thank you very much and greetings from Germany! :D
Thank you for the nice comment! Good luck with the darts and have fun!
Great video. Really comprehensive and not too long. Awesome job,👍🎯
Thank you! That's great to hear because I spent ages cutting it down to be shorter 😆
Nice seeing some of your earlier work mate :)
Thanks mate, this one is on my list to make an updated version of.

I wish I lived out there near all you guys! Most people in the USA don’t even know what darts are let alone follow it, let alone play it, let alone play steel tip, lol😅
Can't fault designa every shape at a resnable price until I gradually figure out what suits
Helpful video. Thanks
For every dart player i can reccomend designa darts...
Very informative, thanks.

i had to go a bit more expensive as i have very small hasnds and the brace barrels are way too thick for me and was causing me pain but thats the only reasion i would think to go a bit more expensive
Sound advice mate good video
Thanks for the tips
Thank you for watching!
how do you steel tips, balance and flights and shafts for it? i liked mission josh rock dart.- designa vampires v2- designa dart thunder v2 and mission nightfall
So for my first purchase of darts how do you know what weight to use first, low to high and when and how you have the right ones for you, surely you can buy loads of different weight darts and what about the length of the stems to use. LOVE WATCHING DARTS BUT DON'T KNOW HOW TO PICK THE RIGHT ONES TO USE FIRST ANY TIPS
Go with a weight in the middle range so 22, 23 or 24 grams. Going with a straight barrel to start as they're the most common. If you find it too thin then you know you will need something different.
Finding the right dart takes years and some people never find the 'perfect' dart. It's all about being comfortable and learning how to use your tools.
Stems and flights are cheap, just buy a few of each length and shape and test different combinations out
I've been using a free set of steel VG darts, which come with my set, and weighing them, there 24g, but feel way to lite for me, would a 24g tungsten dart feel more heavy in hand? And to throw? I'm sorry for all the questions together sir, im a total Newby, and have caught the bug watching on sky 😉
Sometimes darts feel heavier depending on their shape and size but obviously they're still 24g. Maybe try a 24g set that's made of tungsten or a 26g tungsten set. Heavier darts do actually fly through the air with less effort as they're less effected by drag.
Welcome to this great but frustrating at times game 🤣
@@MatadorDarts top man, I will take a look at a set in 24g & 26g also, and have a mess around with them so to speak 🤣 thanks for your reply, & your informative video sir, new subscriber 😉😎
@@Rooney_the_grey_bird Any time, best place to look for cheap darts is probably red dragon. If you're in the UK they have a great range of darts around or under £20.
It does take some time finding the right shape and weight etc. I've been playing for 2 years properly and I'm still searching.
Also make sure to buy an accessory kit that gives you a chance to use different length of stems and different shape flights as they will effect how your darts fly too!
@@MatadorDarts I'm sure it's not as easy as buying the perfect darts for me first time, and always remind myself of my efforts at golf a while back, that it's not as easy as it looks on TV 💯🤣 take care fella, and thanks again 😎
Thanks for the video guy. Idk why all dart review guys are limeys. I had a hard time finding one that spoke English. All jokes aside, good info. It's appreciated.
Darts clearance also a great place
Yeah they just dont have a Filter unfortunately to search but a few good darts
Hi Sr Kurt can i ask a question im buying a tungsten dart its made of 70%tungsten and 24gms in weight my question is 70% tungsten barrel is equal to 80% tungsten barrel
70% tungsten means there is less tungsten on the alloy however 70% still isn't bad.
@@MatadorDarts thank you Sr Kurt for the advice but maybe i choose 80% percent tungsten straight Barrel darts 23 gm im just a beginner darts player from the Philippines
@@user-lp6qo8yc7p 80% or 90% is best for beginners, 70% darts are too wide
Their website looks old as hell in this video but it was only a year ago, mental!
Nearly 2 years ago now, this was uploaded 8th April 2021 so it will say a year until that date :)
But yeah the website has come a long way!
@@MatadorDarts quite right, nearly two years, although I remember websites looking exactly like this back in 2010. Yesterday was my first time on dartscorner so thankfully I didn’t have to deal with it 2 years ago haha!
what was the sites name?
There are a few.
Dartscorner.co.uk and reddragondarts.com are probably the two best
Hello Gérard vidéo Can you tell me the Bâle or this web site thanks?
I think you mis-typed but the website is
dartscorner.co.uk
@@MatadorDarts ok thanks
What darts u use?
I use my own custom darts which I have recently made a video on but I used to use Red Dragon Dragonfly 3, 22g
Just buy a set of bristow.
Lad I don't suppose you could lend a hand to someone that's absolutely clueless
My lad turns 14 in 3 weeks and wants to be the next luke the nuke apparently
Could do with a set or 2 of darts for me and him
HELLLLPPPPP!!😂
Checkout the Ruthless ranger darts on dartscorner they cost £16 a set which is a bargain! Got a set myself on the way to test out and review.

Don't know what's worse the darts you picked or this whole "Dartstuber" society surely everyone must realise world wide darts is the best and God, I love him so much
