This was a really interesting tutorial and I personally like these kind of tutorial videos much more helpful than plain level design. But you said in the beginning that you'd cover other render pipelines, too, which you didn't. I'm developing for VR and use the standard pipeline for compatibility reasons (possibly switching to lwrp if I feel daring) so the HDRP is, albeit nice, not so relevant for me :/ on another note, I'd really like to see some kind of optimization in these videos, when adding these many prefabs there should probably be an optimization step like mesh baking and atlasing etc. right?
Edit: for the sleep you might want to consider trying CBD oil. It helped a friend of mine a lot and I'm trying it successfully so far myself.
Are the grass prefabs in the package? If not were did u get them?
You can check this in assets store description about this asset, or find some info in google(RUclips)
"I'm gonna link everything down in the description" WHERE DO I GET THE GRASS DUDE AND WHY WOULD YOU MAKE A VIDEO WITH A PAID ASSET??? The actual tutorial is good and but at least have the decency to say you're gonna use a paid tool in the title.

Unity Editor UI Scale:
I believe keeping viewport a bit smaller and setting editor UI scale (2019.3 & onward on Windows) higher is better for video tutorials especially if tutor is using 4K display. It's virtually impossible to read elements on mobile and very hard on 1080p display.
Especially when Im watching in 360p on 720p Laptop :/

Great video and I'm looking forward to others in the series. Perhaps videos on realistic water (with splashes and interactions if possible) and maybe even a weather system. Those might be pretty big topics but I think they definitely would be important in terms of environment design.

It's always easy making nice looking grass when placing on a tiny plane. What about mass amounts of it on a Battlefield-size map?

Yeah it's easy to have a great looking scene with these few objects and on flatscreen, but I'm desperately missing a video about optimization, especially for VR :(
@@TheCangar you guys are watching the wrong video. if you're doing VR you probably shouldn't be using HDRP, and URP has another way of doing grass for VR or mobile.
@@ZiFX I'm aware of this but Sykoo usually does these showcase videos and not what I need. That's what my post was about.
Also do videos on things that are practical and can be used on mobile and desktops.

I still don't understand why should i become crazy adding messy features like grass or details missing in Unity after almost 2 years in HDRP when UE has everything working properly and better since the beginning.
This video is painfully slow. It wasn't really about grass, either, was more about basic post processing in HDRP.
