For anyone reading before watching, his videos are much more tolerable at 1.5 speed. Saja, just a word of advice, re-watch your videos and count the number of "uhs" and "ums" per minute. You may be shocked. We were taught to do that in speech class, and it helped everyone reduce our unnecessary pauses. I know you're new and just doing this for fun, but it will be better for yourself and your viewers if you practice a bit before filming. The ketchup was one of the reasons I always hated meatloaf. I never understood how 40% sugar and 60% tomato goop could be so popular. It's fine on a burger with many other flavors, but absolutely ruins a good meatloaf. I imagine an adult would make a very simple glaze and make that meatloaf decent. This is literally the classic, boring meatloaf I had growing up. Back then this version was considered fancy and expensive, with over 70% beef. The budget meatloaf was about 70% bread mush, with a few extra eggs added to increase volume. It was always baked in a rectangle pan, because there's no way it could hold it's shape.
Oh my!!! You're right! I sound terrible. it's really embarrassing. Thank you so much. I will try to do better in future videos. Thank you so much for the advice. I really appreciate it!! Truly, I do. -And thanks so much for the incite. I know exactly what you mean. I know meatloaf is not that sexy. My initial drive to start this channel was to teach my oldest boy, who just moved out of his mom's house at 19, how to cook. -AND show him that he doesn't need a lot of effort to do it, so I am doing a lot of simple recipes that are cheap and easy; even easier things, like how to boil an egg or make mashed potatoes. Meatloaf is just one of those things that's cheap and easy to do on a budget; no frills, just sustenance - HAHAHA!!! Thank you so much for watching my video.
