Mine took like 1 month to sprout with leaves. The seed turned green after a few days and I took it out to check the sees from the soil and I saw it had a tail and roots. I put it back and then I have 3-4 leaves now. Mine was a mango from the Dominican Republic.

Make sure to use gloves when handling mangos. There is uroshil (poison ivy sap) on the skin. It will cause rashes and extreme itching
