@@benthepic Make sure the soil is acidic or it wont produce fruit
Soon my house is gonna be a jungle full of fruits and vegetables
@@XVII_tokyo what do you mean by this? I just used potting mix?
Love how quickly he shows us the method. I have very little patience with long dragged out how to videos .
Bev if you have very little patience for Long drawn out videos then you are gonna HATE growing things cuz that lemon tree that he held 5 seconds after he planted a seed... took YEARS to grow. And I would BET ANYTHING that tree did NOT come from any seed he started at home from grocery store produce.
Growing food is hard work and takes a great deal of patience. What he is showing you is nothing but roots n shoots. Can't eat those.

Me too but my house is a bit small
From watching him I have a apple tree seedling right now. I have my cucumbers sprouts, I just planted my pineapple and I have two peach seeds in fridge.
Yeah because all of my neighbors have a garden and me and my family dont

Yup true.
Dude I am growing melons lemons and I am gotta go for apples oranges and watermelons. Good job keep going. I love your gardening tips. 💚
Thank you for helping us so we can grow our own food! We'll need this.🙏🏽🌻
Especially these days
You’ll need to wait about 6-8 years for your lemon seedling to grow into a tree & bear fruit. Have fun lol.
Did you actually get fruit from the plants that grew from store seed? Cuz growing a plant doesn't mean producing fruit.
😢 how unfortunately true you are... Sometimes need to graft off the mother plant....be nice if he tells & teaches all about that.. he is definitely good & enjoy his methods but I myself don't want to wait 3 or more years for fruit for many many reasons🙏🙌👏,,, ❤😮🙋
@@betsyb7579 you don't even have to do that... grafting I mean. but this guy only takes grocery store seeds and produces a root and a shoot. that RARELY will produce fruit. his channel is primarily entertainment ... not legit growing. there is a lot more to growing food than taking a seed out of store bought Fruit and stocking it in water and dirt. anyone following his advice will grow NOTHING!!!
And while he is entertaining this is why I'm so hard on him... he is basically LYING to everyone.
Majority of grocery store produce comes from GMO'd plants that are engineered to NOT REPRODUCE fruit. this is how they prevent us from growing food.
He doesn't show the long process and makes it look like seed+water+dirt+spritizing water = large plant = fruit.
AND THAT IS NOT THE CASE!!!
Even in the vid for avocado... he showed it as having grown avocados... but he didn't show if those fruit actually came from that actual plant.
I DOUBT IT!!
But in case if they did.... I noticed they were very small and hard which means they were not edible.
I have been growing food gardens for over decade... and I'm saying this guy is a gardening FRAUD!!!
He's entertainment primarily, but his strongest gift is to encourage people to try. he IS VERY GOOD AT EXORTING.
People just need to go to real gardeners to learn actual keys to growing food.
never thought i would, but this channel has inspired me to try to grow a grape tomato plant. it's a really cool hobby, and i'm glad i took a chance on it
Cherry tomatoes are the easiest of all veg producing plants. They need very little care. Glad you are enjoying your new hobby. It's addictive. YT has tons of gardeners to help you learn.
He really showed me something with trying to grow a peach
I just wonder why certain ones need darkness and warmth and others need chilling....how to learn the differences. Very important information.
For instance, he said to put certain seeds in the fridge for the process of stratification. Some seeds need to be sowed during winter while others die because of frost. It all depends on the fruit/vegetable and it’s resistance or ideal to type of weather/season.
In another video (different RUclipsr) the person said that putting a packet of strawberry seeds in the fridge for 4-6 weeks tricks the seeds into thinking that they went through a winter season and they will grow faster. I'm guessing this will only work for some plants because some plants will only last one season and can't survive a winter
The difference might be the natural home it is from.
I am so horrible when it comes to planting stuff everything I plant dies or doesn't even sprout at all😐 either I'm watering the seeds too much or too little but this guy is contagious he just motivated to try again. Please do a video on how you take care of them as they grow from seedlings to trees that bear fruit🙏
you should try daisies all you have to do is plant them in a soil patch no water needed
I heard this for all the peas not sprouting. A wet paper towel, peas inside and wrapped.
Onion skin on top of paper
Into a plastic you can close. Into a dark place .
Wait 3 days. Open. Absolutely successful. Tried with another problem seed, also worked.
DO NOT WAIT 4 DAYS. It is rooting through the paper towel and breaks too many, so must schedule by planting day!
Try growing bush beans. They’re the fastest plants to sprout + grow.
Don’t try peppers- they take weeks/months just to germinate.
Beans/tomatoes/cucumbers are your best bet, given that you likely live in America/Canada/Europe 👍🏼
You should try the knuckle test, if you push your finger into the soil all the way to the first knuckle and it doesn’t feel wet at all and feels dry. It may need some water, also do a weight check by picking it up every now and then. If it’s light, could also indicate low moisture. Water is heavy and can make our plant fee extremely heavy. It also depends on if it’s a mix of things or just dirt. :) if they grow tall they could be Getting “leggy” which is grow terms for reaching for the sunlight and not getting enough. There’s also plenty of ways to tell what’s wrong with my plant? Like if the plant is droopy or sad, it may need water or it may have too much. If they are too warm the can crinkle their leaves under the sun but every type does something different. :) maybe it needs magnesium, or calcium, maybe it’s a vitamin deficiency just like people they too get ill when vitamin deficient. Too much sun for some it perfect and others not so much. Slowly put plants outside under the sun only a few hours a day to get the plant to start “hardening” or in other terms preparing for the weather outside and becoming stronger. But too much too fast is also not good 👍 the plant can also become discolored if they are deficient of anything. The type of water you water with also has a certain ph of your plant needs specific types of water too lol ahh 😅 not too sure why I sat there that long explaining all that lol 😜 hopefully I helped somebody out.
Is anyone getting actual FRUIT from any Plant? This guy may be contagious and encouraging but all he does is show you how to ROOT A SEED. Sometimes that root gets shown as a seedling.
But he doesn't go past that stage and that's why I stopped following on IG.
Sprouting a root is one thing. Growing a seedling is another. But getting produce is quite another and most things need a ton of care and help. And this guy doesn't show the hard work of it all.
It's not as simple as sticking a seed in soil and getting veg.
So I'd like to know.... has anyone gotten any produce from any seed they got from grocery store food???
I think I learned more from this video than I did in an entire year of my high school horticulture class!
Now the test and see how many of these I can successfully grow. 🤞
Same lol

Unless you’re living near the equator, these will not grow into trees & produce fruit.
This guy is just trying to get views from ignorant ppl.
@@ShoyuRamenBreakingBad I live in Key West, where a abundance of fruit grows. So I’ll be taking notes on his tips, especially fruit and citrus.
BTW, don’t all content creators try to get views and grow their channels? That’s what YT is all about.

Awesome content and beyond simplistically demonstrated!!! 😍
Absolutely.
If I could I would give him 💯 thumbs up
Obviously you two giving 100 thumbs up know nothing of what He is supposed to be showing cuz you'll never get fruit by what he does.
I’m in love! This is my new baby plant father!
I lived in Florida for 15 years. Right away, I started planting the head of pineapples I got from the store. After having a lot growing when ready to eat twist pineapple off and the plant will give you another one roughly 6 months later. Sometimes, you can get 3 total. And the top of pineapple right back to ground. The not so fun part is the first one avg 2 5 years of waiting. You can get to the point with enough of them and replanting. That you can after a couple of years from start. Always have a pineapple when you want. When growing them naturally, they don't get very big. Mine were super sweet. I never had a pineapple taste so sweet before. I was hooked. I used good soil like in the north with miracle (cow shit) grow. I didn't know any tricks or good ideas. I just grew them. When I had several ready at sametime, I cut them up in chunks soaked in 100 prof vodka. It's really good in hot wearher drinking liquid when pineapple is gone. Then, I crawled home from my backyard. I loved my time in Florida.
I never thought i would do this, but i am now growing apples!
Can you please include in every short you're doing how often do you have to water the plants and how?
@@spacepirate25 Blueberries apparently need watering once every week and they can't be watered by tap water (they are acidic fruits so rain water helps) you can still water them by tap water it won't harm them
@@XVII_tokyo what about when you are trying to grow it from a squished blueberry from scratch ?
@@XVII_tokyo blueberries like old dilute coffee because it's acidic, top tip ☺️
@MaximusBlue cool. I have no clue how to so I am guessing water it monday and Friday
You litterally inspired me to start gardening and after watching ur vids for only one day i swear the next day i started gradening
Man this guy just lights me up! And you're so knowledgeable and generous, thank you!
Hey there, I did this 3 years ago and my little trees are over 3 and 1/2 feet tall. Didn't expect that 🤗👍😎 Have fun 😃
Did anyone catch the clip where he took the kitten out of the planter pot🤣 so cute! Love you man, you get people excited about growing supermarket foods.
this man is so talented and helpful I just love his videos.
These are all awesome skills, i keep a garden year round. Keep in mind lemons, mangoes, and avocados take years to grow before it produces fruit but it’s rewarding. 😊
Yup and lychee 12 yrs from a seed.
@@Sukariguru374 very true 😊
This is the MAIN issue with this guy. He's been on IG for years and I'm sad to see him here on YT because he is a fraud. Rooting a seed and getting a shoot is not growing a fruit. He doesn't tell people anything real... like 5-6 YEARS before getting a lemon or 3 yrs to get raspberries. He doesn't show the labor intensive WORK.... just stick a seed in papertowel and soil and voila.... magically you'll get fruit.
Avocado said to take 15 years using a seed from the store. I did not cut mine off to encourage more growth though so it lost its leaves and stopped growing at about 40 inches tall. I wonder should I have cut the top instead of throwing out the roots and stem with no leaves left now 🤔🧐
@@thebullwhisperer916 yes i would have cut it. Plus I don't know how quick you threw it out but if you still have healthy roots keep trying sometimes plants look dead but they're not. I never personally avocado but i know this from tons of other fruits & veggies I grew. but hopefully your next one works out gardening is trial & error sometimes you mess up but you usually know what to do next time around.
If he ever reaches 4 million subs, a mega compilation of these videos would be dope.
Omg you’re amazing !!! We need a tour of your apartment please lol. I’m about to start growing my veggies and fruits thanks to you 😊🙌

Dude I think youre so awesome! Big thanks for all the knowledge you bring, you awoke my interest for gardening and greens :)
You are amazing. So inspiring and a person I will keep following.
This guy is contagious.
I've done that. It was years ago. One nice thing about lemon trees is that the leaves smell like lemons if you crush them. The bad thing about lemon trees is the huge thorns on the branches, some can get as long as 1 1/2 inches or longer. But don't expect any lemon fruit for around 15 years. I didn't know it took so long for a lemon tree to mature. After growing my lemon tree for 14 years I looked lemon trees up in my propagation book and found out about the long time it takes. That winter we had a hard freeze and it killed the lemon tree. Orange trees probably take as long to produce fruit.
I've grown avocado trees. But then I found out that if you grow avocados from seeds it's unlikely to produce good tasting fruit like the one you got the seed from. They don't reproduce true. All avocado trees grow commercially are propagated from cuttings from a tasty avocado tree.
Actually if you want a citrus tree to produce fruit within a lot fewer years than 15 years, grow it from a cutting from a mature tree.
They don't reproduce true because grocery store produce has been GMOed by Monsanto to NOT reproduce fruit.
He doesn't tell the people that does he?!!
I have been into planting and bro this is literally my whole tutorial
