And I would BET ANYTHING that tree did NOT come from any seed he started at home from grocery store produce.
Growing food is hard work and takes a great deal of patience. What he is showing you is nothing but roots n shoots. Can't eat those.

@@betsyb7579 you don't even have to do that... grafting I mean. but this guy only takes grocery store seeds and produces a root and a shoot. that RARELY will produce fruit. his channel is primarily entertainment ... not legit growing. there is a lot more to growing food than taking a seed out of store bought Fruit and stocking it in water and dirt. anyone following his advice will grow NOTHING!!!
And while he is entertaining this is why I'm so hard on him... he is basically LYING to everyone.
Majority of grocery store produce comes from GMO'd plants that are engineered to NOT REPRODUCE fruit. this is how they prevent us from growing food.
He doesn't show the long process and makes it look like seed+water+dirt+spritizing water = large plant = fruit.
AND THAT IS NOT THE CASE!!!
Even in the vid for avocado... he showed it as having grown avocados... but he didn't show if those fruit actually came from that actual plant.
      I DOUBT IT!!
But in case if they did.... I noticed they were very small and hard which means they were not edible.
I have been growing food gardens for over decade... and I'm saying this guy is a gardening FRAUD!!!
He's entertainment primarily, but his strongest gift is to encourage people to try. he IS VERY GOOD AT EXORTING.
People just need to go to real gardeners to learn actual keys to growing food.

For instance, he said to put certain seeds in the fridge for the process of stratification. Some seeds need to be sowed during winter while others die because of frost. It all depends on the fruit/vegetable and it’s resistance or ideal to type of weather/season.

In another video (different RUclipsr) the person said that putting a packet of strawberry seeds in the fridge for 4-6 weeks tricks the seeds into thinking that they went through a winter season and they will grow faster. I'm guessing this will only work for some plants because some plants will only last one season and can't survive a winter

You should try the knuckle test, if you push your finger into the soil all the way to the first knuckle and it doesn’t feel wet at all and feels dry. It may need some water, also do a weight check by picking it up every now and then. If it’s light, could also indicate low moisture. Water is heavy and can make our plant fee extremely heavy. It also depends on if it’s a mix of things or just dirt. :) if they grow tall they could be Getting “leggy” which is grow terms for reaching for the sunlight and not getting enough. There’s also plenty of ways to tell what’s wrong with my plant? Like if the plant is droopy or sad, it may need water or it may have too much. If they are too warm the can crinkle their leaves under the sun but every type does something different. :) maybe it needs magnesium, or calcium, maybe it’s a vitamin deficiency just like people they too get ill when vitamin deficient. Too much sun for some it perfect and others not so much. Slowly put plants outside under the sun only a few hours a day to get the plant to start “hardening” or in other terms preparing for the weather outside and becoming stronger. But too much too fast is also not good 👍 the plant can also become discolored if they are deficient of anything. The type of water you water with also has a certain ph of your plant needs specific types of water too lol ahh 😅 not too sure why I sat there that long explaining all that lol 😜 hopefully I helped somebody out.

Is anyone getting actual FRUIT from any Plant? This guy may be contagious and encouraging but all he does is show you how to ROOT A SEED. Sometimes that root gets shown as a seedling.
But he doesn't go past that stage and that's why I stopped following on IG.
Sprouting a root is one thing. Growing a seedling is another. But getting produce is quite another and most things need a ton of care and help. And this guy doesn't show the hard work of it all.
It's not as simple as sticking a seed in soil and getting veg.
So I'd like to know.... has anyone gotten any produce from any seed they got from grocery store food???

I lived in Florida for 15 years. Right away, I started planting the head of pineapples I got from the store. After having a lot growing when ready to eat twist pineapple off and the plant will give you another one roughly 6 months later. Sometimes, you can get 3 total. And the top of pineapple right back to ground. The not so fun part is the first one avg 2 5 years of waiting. You can get to the point with enough of them and replanting. That you can after a couple of years from start. Always have a pineapple when you want. When growing them naturally, they don't get very big. Mine were super sweet. I never had a pineapple taste so sweet before. I was hooked. I used good soil like in the north with miracle (cow shit) grow. I didn't know any tricks or good ideas. I just grew them. When I had several ready at sametime, I cut them up in chunks soaked in 100 prof vodka. It's really good in hot wearher drinking liquid when pineapple is gone. Then, I crawled home from my backyard. I loved my time in Florida.

I've done that. It was years ago. One nice thing about lemon trees is that the leaves smell like lemons if you crush them. The bad thing about lemon trees is the huge thorns on the branches, some can get as long as 1 1/2 inches or longer. But don't expect any lemon fruit for around 15 years. I didn't know it took so long for a lemon tree to mature. After growing my lemon tree for 14 years I looked lemon trees up in my propagation book and found out about the long time it takes. That winter we had a hard freeze and it killed the lemon tree. Orange trees probably take as long to produce fruit.
I've grown avocado trees. But then I found out that if you grow avocados from seeds it's unlikely to produce good tasting fruit like the one you got the seed from. They don't reproduce true. All avocado trees grow commercially are propagated from cuttings from a tasty avocado tree.
Actually if you want a citrus tree to produce fruit within a lot fewer years than 15 years, grow it from a cutting from a mature tree.

    • @destinycoach5

Thank you for presenting Genesis 1:11. "Then God said, let the Earth bring forth grass, the herb that yield seed, and the fruit tree that yield fruit according to its kind who seed is in itself on the earth and it was so... And God saw that it was good.
Are amazing heavenly father has given us everything we need to survive. We just need to to implement it. Thank you for such a great presentation of the fact. Blessings to you😊

The rasberry s an unstoppable plant. I have a giant raspberry bush that took over a corner of my yard and climbed over the chain link fence. For years, neighborhood kids would pick and eat them . The kids are all gone now, but Raspberry is still going strong

Herbs usually like full sun, a bit of tougher soil with some rocks and sand, and alternating between wet and dry soil. It's best to water them from the bottom in a reservoir when they are small.
