Except we keep out hand/fist down to block and protect our junk.

@@jmackinjersey1thats also the reason for standing sideways to your apponent to protect your junk with your knees,hand swipe downward, as well as leaving less targets to your apponent. But what i learned was back in the 70s from my uncle who taught hand to hand combat as an instructor at camp Pendleton . So its quite possible they"ve changed their training. But it has always worked for me even in my senior years.❤
Quite possible. My uncle never said. He just told me the world is becoming more and more Violent and he was gonna teach me how to hurt someone quick, fast, and in a hurry so i would have a chance to run and get away if there was more than one combatant. I was 6ft 2 & 205 lbs of solid muscle and he was 5 ft 7 and 165 lbs and could knock me silly so i welcomed his training as a teen. @@bossynama9880

По моему это рассчитано на того, кто не понимает в этом ничего. Лаукик всегда нацелен на бедро, его задача снизить мобильность противника. И это редкость, когда лаукик получается вот так вот блокировать, и еще не упасть при этом. Для этого нужна серьёзная масса теле и боевая подготовка. Более того, техника работы лаукиком - подскочил стукнул отскочил. То есть молниеносная атака и отход от противника. Первое: нога длиннее руки, плюс, противник отступает - каким образом ты сможешь догнать его ударом рукой? Второе: в какой-нибудь уличной драке, там будут армейские берцы, и если противник в берцах так ударит - тебе будет плохо. Вряд ли выйдет нормально контратаковать. Это простой удар, но он реально выносит противника. Не знаю, как сейчас, но раньше были такие мастера, которые могли с одного удара сломать ногу, правда в армейских берцах. А там понятно, что уже всё.
Additionally, my shins are extremely sensitive. Im strong, but that shin bone is no joke. I would need to wear shin pads. I'm thinking about just wearing them all the time to be honest.
