Can’t believe this awesome album is THIRTY years old, yo!!!😳-I remember buying it the day it came out when I was a sophomore in high school, especially when everyone was waiting for what the Leps were gonna do after “Hysteria”-“Stand Up (Kick Love Into Motion),” “Tear It Down,” and “I Wanna Touch U” are my fave trax in a banger of an album🇬🇧👍🏼🎸🎼🎶🎵
I really like this song. I love the adrenalize album that it's from. The purists hate it, but I'm a leppard fan through and through. I love all their work.
Exactly! It got criticised and it's more "poppy" than earlier stuff, and not as good as Hysteria( nothing is) but Adrenalize was still a blast. With them, a "decent" Leppard album is still better than many bands best albumn.
@@pauldunn5978 the first time I ever seen def leppard was on the adrenalize tour so the album means a lot to me. As you said, not as good as Hysteria, but still a great album.
@@TheRetroManRandySavage Same for me. Saw them 1st time in London on that tour. Pyromania got me into them. Photograph still my favourite track of all.

This album was the very end of the hair band era. When I listen to this I am reminded of the last days before everyone arbitrarily decided it was better to be depressed all the time.
Yeah exactly ! I was 17 in 1992.....grunge was new and different fir about a year or so to me.then just boring and depressing...no showmanship in their looks or concerts . Grunge killed off great music we grew up listening too. I'm more stuck in the 80s now more than ever ! Ha ha....
Rejoice in the fact, then, that hair metal is long since back with a vengeance! And it's successful too - OK, apparently not in the US where you need to mask it as irony like Steel Panther (I love'em, don't get me wrong) as an alibi. But elsewhere, the genre is thriving with a plethora of new, raging, absolutely excellent bands. I advice you to go on a RUclips safari and check out the likes of Eclipse, H.E.A.T., Gathering of Kings, Kissin' Dynamite, Crashdïet, Crazy Lixx, Wildness, Captain Black Beard, Brother Firetribe, Inglorious, the Poodles (yes, the name is intentionally self-deprecating, Wig Wam, and even an oldie but goldie like Treat who is back stronger than ever. And, more often than not, they boast the look too. Whereas no new bands at all play grunge and that whole genre is reduced to a novelty scene from a bygone era.
The other thing this album marks is the end of rocking Def Leppard. I don't know what they thought they were doing after this but it's not hard rock, that's for sure.
This is one of my all time faves by DL! But then again I love and appreciate each and every album they have released. I have been a die hard fan since 82, and my love and admiration for the band only grew out of how they tackled the struggles of Rick’s accident and Steve’s passing. Nothing has kept them down and nothing ever will. ✌🏼💜
Love Def Leppard, saw them live back in 1989 and was thrilled to see them again last weekend in Abu Dhabi playing the afterparty concert after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix!
This song is from 1992, from English hard rock band Def Leppard. This is from their album "Adrenalize". They were trying to be funny not Macho by singing this song.Typical rocking tune with great lyrics pretty funny. 😉😉 Great reaction.Buckets of Maple syrup love from Canada ❤️❤️ 🇨🇦 🇨🇦
What's even more amazing is that the band waited for his Rehabilitation before they cut another album and went on tour again. They just got done with a hugely successful album before the accident and any other band would have been pressured by record labels or agents to get a replacement drummer. But they stood their ground and waited for their friend to be ready. You would almost have to have lived in that era to realize how big and successful the elbow was just before the accident. It was truly amazing that they waited for him.
That was never a single from memory. They dont review albums tracks as far as I can see. But hell yeah! Make an exception for God's of War by all means.
Omg I had forgot about this one and I remember LOVING this song. I seen the tour when this came out. It was a big banger and their music and concerts were always such a great time. Music and Fun at its BEST!!
"White Lightning" and "Tear It Down" are the best songs on the ADRENALIZE album... "White Lightning" was written in tribute to the late great Steve Clark.
Mirror mirror , coming under fire , you got me running , love and affection , gods of war , fractured love , stand up kick love into motion . All great songs
Although this Def Leppard album 'Adrenalize' (1992) was very pop-oriented... the record itself was a difficult one to record. Steve Clark (guitar) who was an original member, died in early 1991 after a long battle w/ addiction... he had co-written the album, but only played on the demos. So when Def Leppard recorded the album, Phil Collen (guitar) played his parts and Steve Clark's. It was a 3x platinum hit, but 'Adrenalize' was the antithesis of what was becoming popular in 1992/ '93 w/ grunge rock bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden... getting airplay and promotion. Def Leppard was an 80's band and became unhip overnight in the 90's.
Back before everyone started being depressed and weak. I had problems too just like most of us kids then but the bands from the 70s and 80s made you forget all about them. Best times of my life were the 80s and very early 90s

This album was dedicated to Steve Clark as it was the first album after his passing. I believe that Steve is credited with being a part of the writing for 7 of the 10 songs on the album. The band wrote a song on the album called "White Lightning" in honour of Steve. It's a great album, but then all Def Leppard albums are IMHO. Heaven Is and I Wanna Touch You are a couple from the album worth checking out. Also, check out "Song and Emotion" by Tesla, good friends of Def Leppard who dedicated the song to Steve Clark.

Thanks for reacting to another Def Leppard video! I have some recommendations I know ya'll are gonna LOVE! As a brother who grew up in the 80's/90's I know some GEMS most people don't know! KING"S X: "It's Love" & "Over my Head" , MR. BIG: "Green-tinted Sixties Mind" , SCHOOL OF FISH: " Three Strange Days" , EXTREME: "Hole Hearted" & "Make Love, Not War"
Thanks once more for a great review. Off topic though, I recently got to your older videos and two in particular, those showing your excitement for the band Chicago's Horn Section. Great entertaining review! I don't know if you're aware, but 50 years ago, during the 70's there was wild controversy on who had the best horn section. Radio DJs and Music Magazines even brought the subject up. In most circles there was agreement the top three were Earth, Wind and Fire, Chicago, and Tower of Power (Not necessarily in that order). The controversy still stands today. All were No.1 in their respective genres, but a clear winner has never been chosen. Having found one Tower of Power review among your pages (there are likely more, and better representations of their style), I'll summit for further review the up-tempo 1981 Tower of Power "Squib Cakes", or their soulful ballet of 1973, "So Very Hard To Go," and I’d like to see your decision on the topic of which band is best. Keep up the good work, love your reviews.
This to me was from the last album that was still recognizable to me as Def Lep, after this they changed. It's cool. You've done most of the stuff before this with the exception of Women, Me and My Wine, and High N Dry. You can't always judge a band or a song by it's title. Suicidal Tendencies is a great example. Name can be off-putting, scary if you're not into heavy stuff, but the band is awesome and the songs are unforgettable. Alice Cooper, another example - dude has a female name, but he rocks hard!! Don't judge music by the titles!!!
Yea Def Leppard was my favourite heavy rock band when I was a teenager in the eighties and my twenties in the nineties. I know where you're coming from about Alice Cooper. I thought that he would be too heavy for me as I don't like heavy metal but when I heard the song Poison I was hooked. Having said that I did buy his later Album, Brutal Planet and it was too heavy, like Thrash Metal, for me.
This album was adrenaline . We had lost The co lead guitarist Steven Clarke by this time and after the injury with Rick Allen losing his arm before hysteria , the band had been through a lot.
As other have said this is actually from ‘92. Another song of this that you should do next is “Stand Up (Kick Love Into Motion)”. It is one of my favorites off of the Adrenalized album. This was their last big selling album. Changing music styles have put a drop in sales of their albums after this. They changed their sound as well for one of their next albums, “Slang” and it caused a lot of controversy with the old hard core fans. I even hard a time with it when it first came out but I’ve learned to appreciate it now with time.
Def Leppard put out a new album this year, Diamond Star Halos. The first song off of it is called 'Kick'.
You have to do When Love and Hate Collide and Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad. 2 of the best rock ballads ever and very emotional too.

KING"S X: "It's Love" & "Over my Head" , MR. BIG: "Green-tinted Sixties Mind" , SCHOOL OF FISH: " Three Strange Days" , EXTREME: "Hole Hearted" & "Make Love, Not War"
The 80's still have the BEST music!
One of my favourites ❤ 🎉😂 such a party song!
Good song good reaction
This song sounds so 80's but actually was realised 1992....just pure fun
Seen them twice one of my favorite concerts
I went to sleep in my Def Leppard t-shirt...
...and woke up Too Late For Love...😅
This is from their 1992 release Adrenalize. First album after they lost guitarist Steve Clark. I think they used a lot of riffs that Steve had on this
this song was released in 1992, taken from the album "Adrenalize"
Jay and amber you play some great bangers now how about some April wine I like two rock video live you will love it thanks 👍
My favorite rock band from when I was a teenager 🤘🤘🤘
This to me was from the last album that was still recognizable to me as Def Lep, after this they changed. It's cool. You've done most of the stuff before this with the exception of Women, Me and My Wine, and High N Dry.
You can't always judge a band or a song by it's title. Suicidal Tendencies is a great example. Name can be off-putting, scary if you're not into heavy stuff, but the band is awesome and the songs are unforgettable. Alice Cooper, another example - dude has a female name, but he rocks hard!! Don't judge music by the titles!!!
Their second most recent album, the eponymous "Def Leppard", is actually a bona fide Def Leppard album and highly recommended.
We had lost
The co lead guitarist Steven Clarke by this time and after the injury with Rick Allen losing his arm before hysteria , the band had been through a lot.
This song's Not top of my list, but Always Love me some Def Leppard! :)
You should listen to Blackfoot- Train Train you’ll love the harmonica
Just saying... Def Leppard launch an album this year and is awesome!
Jay...he doesn't say, when you need some whoah, when you need someone to "Make Love Like A Man!".
I’m not sure if you’ve already reacted to it, but I think Amber would absolutely LOVE “When you close your eyes” by Night Ranger. 💕
One of the earliest videos with Vivian Campbell on guitar after he took over from the late great Steve Clark.
Fun song for sure, for another of theirs that is an instant party try Wasted, great tune studio or live. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶
Love and hate collide is another great track by them
He had a special drum kit made and used a lot of pedals to help with drums.
Hair bands back then had great songs and meanings to it.
Check out "Rock Brigade" next from Def Leppard's 1980 debut album On Through The Night: ruclips.net/video/NRYSlLLU0RE/видео.html
Kick ass tune. From their album Adrenalize, which I find to be underrated as Def Leppard albums go.
I thought of big singer hair band singer is called kip winger his music is played for alot of movies🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸❤️😄
That one was a banger. ❤🎵🎼🎙
They played this song at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert. Make of that what you will.
