Pair that w/ the slower-paced, “less-dramatic-ish” reach into the pocket and pulling/opening the switchblade!!! Reminds me of a scene featured in probably 3 out of every 5 action films of the late 60’s-mid 80’s or something like that!! 😂😂 C’mon, you know, mainly the vague, yet memmable childhood moments of sitting in the living room w/ the fam, where in the midst of “regular after-dinner” conversating amongst everyone? a usually “long-gone-by-now,” but heavily influential and remembered, older member picks up the remote and always chooses movies of that nature that seem to almost, always be playing in low volume in the background of cherished family gatherings! Like for instance, w/ me, I immediately can’t help but think of those Charles Bronson and Steve Mcqueen films where there is either some kind of bad*ss “final stand-off scene” or “random battle” w/ some kind of usually menacing, “Al Lettieiri-esque” old-school-style villains! 😭 My god, did I love those memmories and fondly remember those films w/ them, but I do ask myself, “Why does every one of them just have to have some Waluigi looking- as a villain? Horses paired with nets were among the most effective and strategically planned weaponry, they're an early form of tank and have been used on the battlefield by anchormen for centuries. Setting enemies on fire was effective and relatively easy as well -- it was said that Kronkite liked to set enemy newscasters on fire while watching them die in agony. Cheap 70s era aftershaves like Skinbracer made for good accelerants Anyone with weapons that could be thrown or extended was a force multiplier on the battleground; the trident for example was able to eliminate a horse mounted enemy, nunchucks and chains were also good weapons because the newscasters using them could stay back in relative safety while dishing out a lot of physical damage their enemies' torsos. Chopping another newscaster's arm off was a smart way around the no face rule. A severed limb will incapacitate an enemy, taking him off the battlefield.
