When looking into doing an amateur photo booth I came across this printer. Once it prints it's dry. Good luck with what your going to do with the printer
The canon selphy can be purchased use from $50-150. At the time,.. I believe I purchased the selphy cp900 refurbished from canon for around $80. With regards to printing per sheet. The paper/ink Canon KP-108IN is sold as a set of 108 for around $33 (just checked amazon). The math comes out to about 31 cents a picture. I hope that's what you were asking.
If I recall, the CP900 does not do printing from ipad well at all: community.usa.canon.com/t5/Printer-Software-Networking/How-to-connect-a-Selphy-900-Ad-hoc-from-a-I-padAir/m-p/64271 You cannot do it directly... I believe you would need internet or at least an wireless access point (basically a router). Another problem is the canon easy app you need to do printing. It's not idea at all. I could be wrong.. but doing direct printing through let's say air print... would require a newer model of the selphy.

May I ask what model selphy printer you have? If the model is too old.. it may not install properly. I believe .. if it's the CP1300.. that model is most compatible with windows 10 through USB connection.
Thank you! Definitely going to try this printer
