I’ve been wanting to get into printing but don’t want the hassle of getting an expensive printer and calibrating everything so this is actually super cool. I might pick one of these up.
I have Canon Selphy CP1300 and at this time when I saw this video I was printing photos of my last walk and still printing :) I bought Selphy CP1300 couple of years ago, but it was quite less in use. Then I started doing film photography and I started to print some photos after I started develop film at home. Now I bought a new camera (well, 10 year old but new for me) I have printed every day some photos from my daily shootings. It just gives soooo much value to see those in paper. I also now shoot only JPG on my hobby shootings and I do not any kind of cropping etc. on cellphone to these photos. So much more straightforward and more authentic, then I can see more easy way if my cropping is bad etc. if I print them.
I just received my purchase today, and it addresses a rather unique issue I face as an amateur photographer in a small town. Living about 25 minutes away from the nearest print shop, which is Walmart, it can take up to two hours to get my prints. Considering the travel and wait time, even if it's slightly cheaper per print, it doesn't seem sensible to make the trip. This printer eliminates that hassle; I can simply take it out, print, and there it is-immediately in front of me. For those living closer to a Walgreens, CVS, or Walmart, it probably makes more sense to have prints done there, especially for simple prints to display on the wall. Nevertheless, I'm eager to see how well it performs over time.
I don't know if you have the same problem, but I noticed that when I print with the border setting on, my portraits will come out just ever so slightly stretched out long ways. So that means if I shoot people in portrait oriention, their faces with come out slightly long. However, if I shoot them in landscape orientation, their faces with come out slightly compressed/wide. However, when I print with the borderless setting, it doesn't happen and all the proportions come out right. I haven't heard anyone mention this because it most definitely unnoticeable to most people. However, for me, I like to give out photos to my friends and I guess I get a little worried that since the proportions aren't actually correct, the photo will be just slightly off enough to seem unflattering or not true to life proportion wise.
I have not yet noticed that, but that’s probably cause I haven’t printed with the borders on. Thank you for letting me know though and yeah, I can see how that would be very annoying.
Getting stuck with just one size sucks but it is nice that you know that you will have enough of everything… great information! How expensive are the refills??
This is pretty neat, I might get one of these. I don't do a whole lot of big prints but some 4x6s to hang up or give to friends would be rad, and thankfully I don't have a cat so nothing to worry about with the tape. Great video, always look forward to these. By chance how much do you think, approximately, it costs per print or per pack?
That's not bad considering I could do a test print before doing a whole run at a store. If I went mobile would I need an inverter for my car or does this happen to have a car adapter?
any serious photographer will tell you the pictures that come from this printer are terrible. They come out overexposed and undersaturated. you get what you pay for.

Nice I recommend everyone print at least a little bit!
This guys got a pair of glasses for each day of the week, morning and evening wear
damn right!
It’s only the frames he doesn’t actually need glasses
These videos are always quality. The cuts, the added sound effects, the information. Really good stuff 👌
Much appreciated thankyou!
Thank you for peeling that ink system apart. I understand so much more about it now.
Yeah no problem that was the most interesting part to me!

So sick!!! And yes that’s the best reason to print so you can hold it in your hands and LOOOK! 🫵👍

Love the video. Im looking to go it ASAP. Do you have the traveling battery with it, and is it worth it?
you can get different sized paper for the printer

A single refill of 108 photos with the ink for them is $44 but by buying in bulk or finding a sale one box of 108 can get as low as $25-$30
you are not stuck with one size, there's card sized and postcard sized prints as well as stickers.
Good review! You really understand what this printer is used for
True! Printing!
Nice one! The ending is very funny.
Thanks 😂
Great vid! Do you use the image optimizer setting when printing?
I don’t think so but it has been a minute
thanks 🙂

Depends on if you buy in bulk or not but a pack costs about 20$ to 30$ per pack of like 108 prints

Not sure but it doesn’t come with one sadly
Can you use any 4x6 photo paper
no
Is there any Icc profile for that? Colours on my prints are def not good
Not sure if there is or not, I’ve been just transferring from my phone and for that they look pretty good
I get yellow/green tint in all my photo with this printer .. I tried everything and always the same
Dope ⚡️
Tank you 🙏😘
What canon printer is that? (The big one 😂)
Canon pixma pro 100 (I DO NOT RECOMMEND)
