Thanks. I had a few bad experiences going through a 3rd party repair shop in the way past. My wife had a iPhone 10. I found an iPhone XS Max for $95 on eBay. The seller had replaced the battery but sadly they got the “unknown part” warning message. I used coconut battery and the battery is fine at 100% capacity. Big issue is just a cracked back. I’m leaning toward replacing the battery myself. I did it already for the iPhone X with my aunts phone but that was easy since the screen had split apart due to expanding battery. Thanks. Good advice.

@@angrymathdude it's pretty easy, make sure to use ifixit's parts and tools because they are the best quality ones and make sure to get a new adhesive so the phone is resistant again because after time the seal breaks, but if it is still intact try a heating gun or something to soften the adhesive but considering the phone is 6 years old you probably won't need to. good luck

@@archux_ It would be nice to have a heat pad instead of a heat gun (just don't know how much heat is blasting down from the heat gun.) I agree.. I want to get a decent quality battery. It's a problem with all of these 3rd party batteries getting one that lasts. I was reading on Best Buy's website where one customer complained their battery expanded and died after 3 months. The adhesive would worry me. Regardless of where it's done... I think opening and then closing the phone ... theres always a big chance it won't seal right. Cool... it's something I'll give a try later!

@@angrymathdude yeah, the best water proofing/quality is ofc when you put it into apple's repair shops, but yeah 80 bucks is maybe a bit too much.

Are you running the 13 or 15”? I tested some power supplies awhile ago.. Let’s say you have. 45w power adapter. It might be able to draw 50w power max. Let’s say you have a 60 power supply. It might run at 65w max I think 13” mbp uses this. The 85w adapter is for 15” mbp but definitely runs the 13”mbp. With most electronics. You typically can use a power adapter that has more watts. It’s sorta like a pc how you need to have a power supply that meets minimum requirements by you can always get a power supply that’s over that minimum

Oh yea.. again. my macbook is a 13" macbook that should use the 60w power adapter. This power adapter at 85W has worked well. It's been 2 years and still running strong. I'm pretty sure because it can provide more power... there is less load (heat) on the power supply. Good luck! Sometimes the 85W power adapter is cheaper then the 60w one.. on amazon that is.. go figure?

If you play all of the myvegas app games you can accumulate all the points when linked to your Facebook account. Myvegas slots, myvegas blackjack, Konami slots, myvegas mgm slots. Myvegas pop slots. That’s 5 games. I think you can accumulate like 2000-3000pts per game. In theory you can accumulate like 10k to 15k points a day. You just put your game on auto spin and come back in an hour when you’ve got max points. Good luck! I do pointless stuff like this. I could just get a real job teaching math or tutoring but again. I do pointless things

@@Jugg_Harden you can still claim rewards.. but the points will be accumulated for just that one app. As I mentioned.. let's say you have myvegas slots and myvegas pop slots... If you play both.. those points gain points separately.... If you had linked a facebook account.. then those points would be combined... But I do think you can redeem points without a facebook account. They will ask for name, email that matches you real id.

It's abit complicated to setup the automatic timer features. I mean.. to switch between different cooking methods... you just press the menu button. It is difficult I'll admit. I don't use any of these features.. just want to cook rice and do it well. For me.. it's abit inconsistent. Maybe I got a lemon? What rice cooker did you have before?

You can fix the partition 2 ways I only talked about the common method which is to restore stock firmware from usb. Alternatively. It might be possible. You could use chrx I think to resize the 7th partition back to its original size. I never tried it but I’m assuming chrx has a way to reverse the partition. Good luck. A lot people recommend not to waste time modding a Chromebook But when is updates end and also you want to do something more then just surf the internet. Installing Linux or even windows seems pretty cool.

I tried that just now... interesting.. it was able to get passed the constant resetting. It booted to a purple/magenta screen. I think I'm doing what you're suggesting.. it's holding down the cartridge down more then usual. But ... it did get me into I think the right track. When I insert the cartridge... depending how I push it forward in... it affects how the game is reading. So.. I pushed the left side of the cartridge more forward.. when powered.. it constantly restarts. Then... I tried pulling the cartridge back towards me... and instead pushing the right side only abit. It finally booted abit... (pixelated). Man the nintendo reader is sensitive for some games.. sigh. I'm gonna clean each cartridge with a q-tip and isopropyl alcohol.. and then try adjusting how the cartridge is inserted. Thanks.. I think this helped.

Sadly, I didn't really use a guide. I just pieced together different guides though: So if you're running an ACER Chromebook cb713 (13" model) or cb714 (14" model) NOTE: doing this will erase your chromebook to factory settings 1. step 1, put your chromebook into developer mode www.xda-developers.com/how-to-turn-on-chrome-os-developer-mode/ 2. Now, to run linux (and maybe even windows... not suggested), you need to install a boot firmware so that it can properly boot linux installation. docs.mrchromebox.tech/docs/fwscript.html Mr. Chromebox.tech firmware script should allow you to install rw_legacy firmware (soft install... which can get erased). If you'd like to install the FULL custom ROM you will need to take a safety screw out (I was too scared to do this). 3a. At this point.. You could install to a USB external drive (ie usb m2 drive) using a linux flash installer. 3b. If you would like to install linux internally onto your chromebook. Follow guideline from chrx.org Go to "Step by Step" section (there is some overlap with what I've asked you to do above) chrx.org/ 4. When you run the chrx script.. the 1st time it will ask you how you want to repartition your internal drive to install linux. 5. You will need to re-run the same chrx script if you want to install linux ONLINE. You can install linux from a live flash bootably drive... but you have to install to the correct partition of your laptop. Again.. I haven't done this method for the acer.. but I believe it's the 7th partition. If you choose to install linux from a flash live boot drive,... this may cause your chrome OS partition to become corrupted. Again.. if you install linux internally using chrx.org utility (online method): This will retain chrome OS as well as allow you a working linux. If you decide to install linux with a bootable USB flash drive... it may cause the chrome OS installation to become corrupt and unusuble. 6. There is a chance after installing, that grub installer will not be setup correctly. ctrl+d will boot into chromeOS ctrl+l will boot into legacy boot which allows you to boot into linux Again,.. if grub is not installed correctly, then it won't boot well. You may need to repair the grub boot. I think this can be done using There is a utility called "Repair Boot" I believe... it can be found in most linux ubuntu type installers. If you boot into the Live installation and run the repair boot tool.. it can fix grub automatically (but you could also do this through command line... which sadly I don't know.. I'm not a linux guy). This is as far as it goes for getting linux all setup.

I'm not sure.. most jailbreaks allow you to go to older ios... usually not newer ios. I believe.. .on the ipad 2.. installing netflix isn't the big issue. the underlying issue is that netflix will block it from their side (ie probably not allowing you to log in at all). But maybe it is possible to add a jailbreak and for someone to slightly modify entry to Netflix so that it makes it appear you're running a newer IOS/netflix version. Still that would make me wary abit.. knowing things like that were modified (possible hacking into your account,...)

I have them send me screenshots of these spam and typically have to guide them on either restarting the tablet or figuring a way to close the tab on the browser for them (because every time they restart the browser it loads the last webpage). Oh wow. iOS 6 is old. What retro games are worth it to downgrade to iOS 6. I’m on 9 and worried doing something like this would brick the iPad

@@angrymathdude belive it or not most times it wont brick your device the first step you could take depending on the storage capacity is ota downgrading to ios 8 which has a permement jailbreak and then boot into whatever version you want but in my case I have a ton of games that wont work on ios 7 or later due to certain system changes which has led me to downgrade quite a few back to 6 and makes them feel snappy and there is a fix for the youtube apps on ios 6 and a alternate app store with games you cant even get anymore or even knew existed at the time
