I watch a fair amount of sewing videos, and I want to tell you that I am impressed with your straight seams. This angle from which you are filming shows it all, and I see a lot of people varying a lot. Your stitches are just as straight and true as can be.
I love that your nail polish matches the fabric it is such a beautiful colour… blue hues are my favourite… you have inspired me to try fabric weaving… also I love how you mention that you weave as a way to work through stuff… it’s so refreshing to hear you talk about mental health. Love ya work…
I’ve dropped in on your channel a bunch of times over the past few years, and I remember you doing the fabric weaving quite awhile back. An interesting technique, and you make it look beautiful. I also remember catching a post about you taking time away from your “influencer” role, as it was getting toxic for you. I can see how that can happen, and I’m glad to see you return to sharing your creativity practice with the rest of us. That is influential enough, I think.
You just made my day! I LOVE this pouch bag and thank you for all the easy instructions! And I have to say, I am now a subscriber to your channel Keep them coming, ‘cuz we need creativity like yours in the world! 🎉
Beautiful work as always! Love the binding trim - finishes it off so professionally. As a beginner, LOVE LOVE LOVE your super closeup shots when you are sewing - makes it so easy see & understand your methods for each step. You are an awesome teacher!
You are The Best at taking patterns from fun to Incredible! Thank you for mentioning you’ll be sharing more projects for woven panels :) Have a great day!
Matthew, I love your videos and have to let you know that you were the one who got me back into creating things. You are the greatest. Love from Brisbane Australia.
Love it! Will look through your older videos, as I am a new fan. I don’t understand what you mean about a woven panel. Need more information! Thank you!
I love this bag!! It looks doable to me! Thank you 😃. I will probably try with fabric and some fusible for the body you have there with the weave. It is wonderful Matthew! New subscriber here 😊
Right out of the gate.. I need to try this... so true the ZEN thing... i knit/crochet and quilt... but this might just be a new addition... as well... LOve the seam finish... Hugs, GrammaBabs
I was watching one of your older videos earlier today and then this one popped up, and I had to let you know that you're looking amazing! You look happier and healthier it brought a big smile to my face.
Great tutorial! I’m laughing at myself because I have used binding on other bags but I never thought to open the binding to stitch it down, you know when you learn something new you say what the heck was I thinking
I just completed 2 birthed boxy bags and the boxed corners were soooo hard to do. I think I'll try it with the bounds corners. Oh, if you put the zipper pull on and run it right off the opposite end then put it on again, your entire zipper will be closed. Makes it easier to sew the end where you had it open. Just an idea. Thanks for the video
I believe that the ones that they are using are from Magic-the company that makes magic pins, however Clover also makes a very good XL wonder clip……I discovered the Clover brand XL wonder clips before the Magic ones, I don’t use them often however when needed they are very useful and hold very well. MX may have a link for them in their description box 🤔🤔 I hope that this helps.
I believe that it’s the Gypsy quilter that makes a easy to use zipper pull tool and I have also seen a couple content creators put out videos showing where they folded down the outside tines of a fork, leaving the 2 in the middle standing straight up-they then placed the zipper pull between the tines to hold it into position and then they slid the teeth onto either side. Hope that this helps.

Where did you find the heavy duty clips?

Is the written pattern for this in your book? I always need written patterns and the video helps a lot. This nag is gorgeous😍
Are you able to demonstrate a tutorial for weaving with fabric satin ribbon of a cross pattern pls
I have a very hard time getting the zipper pull on the zipper. Do you have a trick to do it?
