I am so glad your aiming to post more content! I'm starting my own business right this very second because I got so inspired by your story/process/products/family. Your videos keep me so motivated It's crazy! I've been doing very time consuming, hand tooled/stitched one-off pieces for people for years, but now I'm moving toward a more production type of model. Put $5k into start-up and I'm waiting for equipment to come in the mail! Very early stages. Got a logo designed, and got my stamps ordered. I'm so pumped because I have a goal that I know I can achieve, and that's to be where you guys are now. I don't care to be rich, I just want to be able to support my family doing what I love to do. Thanks so much for the inspiration, and long live Stock and Barrel Co.! I truly wish for you and your beautiful family the best life has to offer, and I really hope you understand how much all of the work you put in to provide this content is appreciated. I love you guys!

Hey Parker, we think your great. I can completely relate to the uphappiness of the long hours away from family working at the sewing machine until late at night! Man, it really cut deep! The difference between us, is that you learn and 'bravely' action quicker, especially with the out sourcing. I think one problem I have made, is that when you work 100's hours just making, you have tunnel vision and you dont put your whole life & work life in perspective, for a lot of us, its important to perhaps go on holiday or spend time away from workshop, to make overview decisions and ensure you are doing the things that make you happy.

Thanks for sharing this next "Chapter" in your incredible leather journey. It is really exciting to see how your business is growing, scaling, evolving. I am a leather worker as well an am thoroughly inspired. I think your choice to have that company build your shed was a good one. Just what they saved you in "time" alone makes a huge difference. Think of all of the bags you can design in the time you saved. I think I want one of those myself someday. Love your location, the shots of your family, your machines (get me a towel, I'm drooling). Looking forward to seeing more. Thanks again for letting us "in the shop"!

Love your shop bro! I recognized it as a hickory shed right away and think the design and location are perfect. Also I appreciate how you addressed leatherwork becoming a drain on your life. Even doing something you love can become a drudgery when it becomes too much. Glad you found some balance and can spend time with family. All the best to you.

First of all, your shed looks great! Being in Singapore has its downside as I will never ever be able to do this without a fortune. As well, may i ask what kind of cloth do you use to apply stuff like canauba cream, acrylic resolene and mink oil? Those are what I use and I realised resolene are not suppose to be massaged in but just simply applied. The other are applied using lint free cloth? Thank you!

Depending on where you live, you may have too much humidity, Like We do in Florida. We use cigar humidor hygrometers(?) In our raw leather storage areas (file cabinets and closets). Use desicant buckets and seperate large pieces to allow air flow and that should help.
