Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video my sister lives in Vancouver and she bought this pickup with the 6spd manual gearbox as gasoline prices are higher than Ontario where iam or the United States
What's your thoughts on this new gen vs. the third with a re-gear (4:88/5:29)? For example, if you already have the third gen and were planning to re-gear and keep it vs just trade it for the 4th gen?
My brother owned a 3rd gen with 5.29 gears! Lots of content on that truck! He sold it last year for the 4th gen. But just depends on what you want. The regear helps with the shifting of the truck and that’s it. Definitely makes it way more smooth. But if you want a new look and tons of options. The 4th gen is a lot more customizable. But depends on what you’ll like and enjoy more.
I have a TRD sport 22 and I really like it but I have test drove the TRD sport premium and I really like all of the improvements and the 14 inch screen didn't bother me and I am 70 years old. If I can't make a good deal I have no problem with walking away and keeping my 22. I figured that if it's good enough for alkida and the taliban, it's good enough for me. @@BrosFOURRSpeed
So disappointed. A huge amount of cheap ass plastic and no premium materials. The increased price and no 6cyl. Bye bye Tacoma. My 2020 premium was $6000 cheaper with premium materials and a 6cyl. No justification for a mid level sport @ $50,000
My brother sold his 3rd gen for a 4th! The 3rd had a lot of plastic too.. the 4 cylinder is more powerful and quicker than the V6.. glad you enjoy the 3rd gen, both are great trucks.
@@BrosFOURRSpeedNot feeling the love with the new engine but I must admit, the low end torque is impressive but certainly the mid to high power band was nothing to right home about in my humble opinion. But you know what they say about opinions…….😳
@@deantrainr Driving it, this is definitely way quicker in acceleration and peppy feeling then the old V6. We’ll have to see about long term reliability with it. But it certainly is much more fun to drive with the engine and transmission
I am from South Africa since we don't have huge trucks like this, the only huge truck which is available is the Ram. I wonder how does it feel to drive a huge truck like this? How do you park it at a parking lot at a mall or shopping center 🤔🤔🤔
For us the Tacoma isn't anything big. It feels like any normal SUV. The Ram trucks have a much larger footprint. So the Tacoma seems easy to park and maneuver
Got mine out the door 50k.. only package missing was the cooling seats and sun roof. Which to me is not a deal breaker.. had it for a month now love every minute of driving it .. 👍🏼

Oh cool! Would be fun to check out the new Tacoma with the manual
Could you comment on the road noise? I wonder if the higher trims with the acoustic glass would be worth the upgrade for a quieter interior
I didn't have an issue. Thought is was pretty quiet and comfortable
Hope you get a higher trim level for review. Then you can test out those Iso seats.
Depends on what's available!
Yeah that would be sweet to check out the TRD Pro! Hopefully we can film every trim level!
