    Acura owner here.
If you are doubting this car because of the lack of touchscreen and the presence of a trackpad, here's what I can say.
This car excels in driving response (I find it better than driving the audi Q5), it has a good mpg and lots of space in the backseats and trunk for small families. People hate the "trackpad" because they use it like a laptop touchpad. The way it works is that the square is a representation of your screen and by looking at the screen you can situate your finger on the pad to track which action you are trying to do. Once you get the logic behind it you'll never miss touching and dirtying your screen ever again.
to sum up: if you want a compact suv with lots of cool tech, an amazing drive and lots of space for a small family of 4 or less this is ur car.
If a touchscreen is what you want, then go buy a Kia or something, they have huge touchscreens

Now you see black wheels and the elimination of chrome surrounds in more and more cars, lots of people have it blacked out. I just bought my new Toyota Camry and 60% of them have an option listed as a blackout package for emblems and window surrounds and so on. So I am not wrong.

I own a '21 RDX Base Sh-AWD. I watched the video and honestly had a pretty hard time seeing the upgrades. That said, my wife really likes it. We live in the higher country west of Denver and the Sh-awd combined with the snow mode is amazing. The 4 cyl. turbo is has enough kick to get us up the mtn. passes with little effort and has plenty of power when we need to get on the gas to pass. We avg. 26.2 mpg commuting in comfort mode. It has a much sportier feel than a Venza. I haven't driven an NX to compare so maybe we're missing out. Yes, the track pad is lame but you get used it. Yes, ours takes premium not sure if the newer years do or do not. Yes there are annoying rattles, especially when the car is cold. Would I buy this new? Absolutely not. Would I buy this as a 3-year-old, used lease vehicle with 26k and 1 year warranty left for $28k? I did and would again, every single time.

Okay, my daughter loved Acura, so got brand new 2017 Acura RDX, V6 3.5L.
She drove for 55K miles. Lot of repaired bills- like alternator, battery, transmission hesitation, etc.
The Acura dealership gave her very cheap for trade in, so she keeps her RDX.
She started with brand New Mercedes Benz…
The RDX timing belt, water pump, tensioner, and few other items, and included four rotors & pads.
Calibers rebuilt due to shortage Honda supplies in 2022. Spark plugs- Iridium NKG replaced every 40K miles.
All fluids changed: engine oil filter every 5K miles, transmission fluid, and all gears box fluids replaced every 40K miles.
Now 100,100 miles running very well, but the gas mileage on highway 23 mpg, the city is very poorly at 15 miles mpg.
The mileage went up so fast-and not sure the computer did that. Because Honda had history law suit about mileage inaccurate on speed odometer.

For the money , Honda has been making a small margin on each of the new rdx since its introduction years ago. The redesign in 2019 was very significant as far as the actual vehicle goes. For navigation the TouchPad is fine. The radio is a radio. The climate controls are very well positioned up high and easy to use. For the money a comparable bmw , Porsche or Mercedes would cost at least 20,000 dollars more. Do Lexus and Genesis make comparable vehicles? If you're comparing looks, sure. Body, engine, transmission and chassis build quality ?

Acura and Mazda pulled off the same change by making the lower moldings body colored. It had a good look yes, it makes it look naked but imo, I think having the black plastic gives it a little contrast. This is to much white in my opinion. I have a 2019 RDX, after 15 yrs of Honda Element 5 speed manual AWD ownership. The vehicle drives & handles fine, with good performance. However, the brakes are typical non confidence inspiring soft pedal Honda spec. The biggest downfall of this model is the Tech & Infotainment. My Infotainment system killed my battery & left me stranded 3 times due to software issues that prevented the system from powering down. I had to replace the battery because of this. The dealer did replace the infotainment system wiring harness under a recall. No problems since, fingers crossed, but I always check that the infotainment screen goes off before I walk away. The so-called "Driver Assist features" are slow, sluggish, & suffer from poor cpu processing power. The collision avoidance system & adaptive cruse control almost CAUSED two accidents. I narrowly avoided being rear ended twice. Once I either disabled them or turned them off, they've become less intrusive & dangerous. The 10 speed automatic also suffers from poor cpu or software control. I only find it acceptable when driven in full semi-manual mode, otherwise it constantly lugs the engine & always requires a sluggish downshift for any kind of acceleration. I've made my piece with the vehicle by turning almost everything electronic or automatic off, but I came very close to getting rid of it during my first couple years of frustrated ownership. If this vehicle was available with a Civic 6 speed manual & a non-SH-AWD viscous coupled 4WD system, I would trade mine in instantly. I really want to love & not just tolerate my RDX, but I actually miss my 2006 Element & Gamin GPS.

As others have commented.. lack of touch screen is completely unacceptable in 2024/2025
My previous vehicle a 2007 Honda CRV Touring had touchscreen.. So Honda's "luxury" version of the CRV in the RDX NOT having a touch screen really makes me wonder why they're shooting themselves in the foot.
I love alot about this RDX.. but wouldn't buy one for that one reason.
