Curb went over the line as it Became perverted. You have to remember the actors on curb make the difference as the writing is in outline. It’s all improvised. And if it weren’t for Leon the later seasons would be ‘ummm’. Funkhauser and Richard are both missing and that’s a major hit. That said Seinfeld is not as good it doesn’t have the depth of the earlier curb seasons. Don’t forget there are a team of creators.

Even though it's a fantasy, it's so cathartic to see LD win for once in his life. Also, I feel so sorry for Irma at the end. I seriously hope Tracey Ullman returns! She was beyond phenomenal!

In any case, it's cathartic to see when he does win. Always strikes me as funny whenever you write a comment. It becomes overly dissected and analyzed like on a CSI show or something. That might be interesting fodder for a future season of Curb come to think of it. Lol

I think one of the reasons the season was not so good was because of the introduction of that specific character. the actress is great, the character is terrible. for example mocha joe was an amazing character even though we all hated him. I wish he was on this season, I was expecting some kind of revenge from Larry

Also, as a non-American it annoys me that this tends to happen with great US sitcoms - they never know when to stop. Seinfeld is one of the rare instances (even though the finale sucked). Curb also knew when to stop, but Larry only brought it back because of fan pressure (mentioned numerous times in interviews). Now it just feels tired and way too unrealistic/slapstick-y. It has its moments, but overall was not a fan of this season (nor the last).
Watching LD is pure comedy. Can't wait for season 12, and I hope it comes out sooner than later! As for characters in this season, that I'd like to see in season 12, I really hope Albert Brooks is a regular, as well as Tracey Ullman ( besides the usual normal characters! )
I've noticed a progression of madness in Mr. David's sitcoms. When Seinfeld started, Jerry was the normal anchor in a group of misfits. Eventually, he misfit himself. Mr. David started CYE as an out-of-place New Yorker in Hollyweird. As time progressed, he joined, and surpassed the weirdness. Hey! It works.
Did no one see the ending as I did? Councilman Weinblatt didn’t have a fence around his pool either. Larry could blackmail him. I’m sure he’d convince one more council person to vote aye in another vote and repeal the law retroactively and the dream still would come true. However, Larry may still be stuck with Irma but that would likely be an unpleasant price Larry would reluctantly pay. Lol

I wish there was more of a real showdown between LD and Maria Sophia and or Irma. That being said, I feel like this was one of those seasons where Larry deserved every shmear of comeuppances levied towards him. Some seasons I see him as being in the right, like a misunderstood anti hero and though he certainly had his moments, on the whole he deserved he gets in the end.

I've been waiting for 1 more episode because in terms of finales, I think they left things unresolved or poorly executed. Leon's sayings saved the season for me though, especially his response to Little Women. Leon needs a spinoff with Freddy Funkhouser.

I can live without seeing any of that now if only they have a 12th season and address all this in the first episode. I’d be satisfied then!

So was the firing of Maria Sofia a dream sequence? I feel like they could have done more with that character and situation. The ending kinda felt flat.

@@jameskennedy552 I think the whole Young Larry thing is meant to be a parody of Young Sheldon and Larry saying that that show is something he finds stupid much like how Fatwa was Larry's way of satirizing Hamilton in the same way...heck, he even got Lin Manuel Miranda on board for that one and Lin was a good sport for being the butt end of the joke.
