The rain may have slowed her down, but it takes less than 2 weeks to go from the VT border to ME. The last few days I have been thinking of Renee and hoping she is not attempting Wildcat in the rain.
@kristentheologus8191 and my estimate is with dry trails. There are a few trails I would attempt in wet conditions. So I am sure with the weather we have had in the last two weeks, they have taken a free Zero days.
I wonder how you're holding up now with all this rain. We were only hiking and car camping and gave up a week into a 2 week trip. Absolutely miserable.

Chasing Blazes was in the Andover Maine area on or around July 3rd. Someone posted a video of a river crossing in an FB Appalachian Trail group. Also, a SOBO, Summit Sam met her somewhere along the way in Maine.
@@katerogers1048 TY! I've been following her for the past two months. She met up with the hubby, and got a "little" down in the dumps, but said she was continuing. She hasn't posted in at least a week. Usually, she posts every two days. I was concerned. I've hiked the trail extensively in GA in various weather conditions. I respect youse guys!!! Good luck!!!
