What we need is to make the Insta360 X3 remote control compatible with the ace pro camera. Also the ace pro remote control is not compatible with the X3 either....How is the battery life of the different remote controls? I can imagine the Ace Pro new remote control drains battery a lot?
I'm sure Insta360 are on that as it's $100 cheaper and I'm sure a lot of people already have it and could use it with their X3. I'm sure they're also making the new remote backwards compatible, it even says so on the website, so I'm sure that's coming. The battery on the Ace Pro holds very well, been using it loads without charging it yet.
Another great comparison review as always. I have the Ace Pro and the remote and I find it great in every way except the handle bar strap is too short for the handle bars on my trike. Other than that it's great and I use it all the time when I'm using the Ace Pro. And as always a BIG thumbs up.👍
Thanks as usual Kym!! The handlebar strap is quite short, yes! I end up using my wrist strap more often. It's fantastic, I agree, works much better than the DJI GPS remote.
Yes, it feels like it's much more in sync. The DJI remote had a lot of connection problems whilst I was using it over the last couple of days, I was really surprised it took so long to get GPS signal and how easily it lost GPS signal. The Insta360 managed to connect fast and to hold on even when I was inside or hidden.
There's no such thing as an iWatch. It's called the Apple Watch. You can remove the magnetic charging section from the base plate to charge the Insta360 remote while it's still in the wrist band. I figured that out last night.
I call it an iWatch, sounds logical right 😂 Yes, you can remove it from its silicone base, but I'd still prefer just a usb-c connection for charging. Apart from that it's the best GPS remote out there.
How many hours of battery do you get on each?
How do you manage to export video with the GPS data in 4k with DJI Mimo app? I'm limited to 1080p.
With version of the action 4 do you got? Or is it a case?
I bought the DJI stickers for it, did a video on it, it's rather silly.

Hi, do you not have an affiliate link to the Insta360 GPS Preview Remote? I may have completely overlooked it of course!
Have you tested how far away you can be from the camera and still use the controller?
It'll go quite a few steps back, but these are mainly to be worn.
I've read that it can pair up to 4 Ace Pro cameras. But can it turn on/off or record/stop simultaneously all the AP cameras?
That I haven't tried as I don't have 4.
One question is, oh, great video. By the way, is can the Insta start recording and stop recording on multiple cameras like the DJI remote?
I believe yes, but it can only preview one of them.
up to 4 ace pro/ dji 16 oa4
@@lutzmix cheers for responding.

Can i use Insta360 GPS Preview Remote will work on dji action 4 ?
I’m afraid not, no.
Ace Pro is syncing more with your scooter speedometer from the looks of the video.

Thanks for sharing! I prefer Insta360 AcePro with Insta360 GPS Preview remote
The Preview Remote is fantastic, I love that too!
dang my hiking speed is 6-7kmh lol
6-7kmh, you are speedy!! I do about 1-2kmh depending on which one of my children I'm with.
@@PhillipSkraba well when children are involved then everything slows down!
Except my life, that's gone by way faster 😂

There is such a thing as an iWatch and is owned by OMG Electronics LLC.
Too bad you can't just buy one and use it for both product lines.
That would be cool!
Head’s up guys, I bought the dji remote and it literally stopped working after the first test. Very disappointing
Really? Mine still seems to work, I’d send it right back in your shoes for a replacement.
