Kent this really rocks, I was having trouble with my Bagua until I saw your videos. I'm excited to order the DVD and am walking the circle regularly. I found out about Wang-Shujin through Bruce Frantzis' book, he was an amazing martial artist, great lineage to be in. Thanks for jump-starting my practice, I'll be in touch.
bookmarked :-)
thanks for excellent instruction - i've practiced tai chi for a dozen years but have yet to find a bagua instructor - these vid clips give a great and clear introduction to some key elements
Very clear and helpful like all your videos, I've got a lot to practice now. Thanks once again.
great video, very informative... I love your series. I agree, just pure BaGua information, not clouded up with any BS.
Thanks a ton!
clear simple baguazhang, no cultural bs nor my stuff is better then your stuff bs, thank you for maintaining and raising the bar with regards to good instruction.
Thanks, Aaron. I am glad you found it helpful. By the way, we have most of this material on our new DVD if you are interested. Let me know, and I will get you a copy.
Kent
I totally agree with 'gcastil' and it just goes to show the noble character of this fine teacher.
Hello Kent, thank you for posting these videos. I plan to move to an area where Wang Shujin's martial arts are being taught, and I plan to attend the classes. I have a question, does the Wang Shujin's Baguazhang style use mud step in their practice or is it simply heel toe?
Thank you.
Hi, thanks for the note. Wang Shujin used the Lion Step (heel-toe) primarily. I have not seen any of his students, including my instructor Dr. C.S. Huang, use mud or snake step except in application. Lai Tianzao, another of Wang's students used a step similar to snake stepping, but he performed his bagua forms very slowly like tai chi. Good luck with your training. Please let me know who you end up studying with. I know there were some Wang Shujin style (through Wang Fulai) practitioners in Texas, around Dallas I think.
@@baguaman8 Thank you for your reply. It is Eric Hung from Cheng Ming USA, Plano Texas.
