So graceful movements!!
You become one with the flow and completely lost .!!!
this martial arts is the style of ang's movements form avatar the last air bender.
That is backward. You DMF. There is no comparison! That is just a fantasy. But this skill is real. Sell your video games. Quit hiding from life. Find a gym and start bending iron. Then make yourself a good student. Study kung fu. It is hard, difficult. But the rewards are many.
Peace.
@Deptstdnt i No death maestro thats not what I meant to say. I meant to tell you the truth. Which I did. I hope your intelligent enough to appreciate it. And strong enough to accept without feeling traumatised. Good luck to you.
@Deptstdnt i Dude. Grow TFU and quit trolling people.
airbending is from baguazhang, waterbending is from taichi
That's what Airbending Is based off of
This is very beautiful and soothing to watch. I wish i can be this skilled.
nicely done.
it's interesting how differences can occur w bagua, I practice a similar style, Liu Bin from Beijing, through Zhang jie. some of the movement patterns are very similar, other's quite a bit different. but the fundamental moves are clearly very similar, especially the off axis and spine turning movements. our method is done very smoothly, less of Fa when compared these palms (thought ours is done w more fa in other forms of the style)
thanks for posting.
Looks very skilled and dedicated to me, with fluid motion and fast high kicks, for example. Subbed, and will enjoy seeing more. Thank you!
I watched this embedded on the channel’s freedommartialart site, where I read some interesting information on the style and its origins.
Great Cheng Style Bagua! I can see the Liu Jingru lineage is alive in you.
Half my family is fromSouth Africa!!!! My Mother is from Cape Town!
Awe bra I'm from CT😆
And when the world needed him most, he vanished.. Jaja this style has so much rotation! Got dizzy watching. Great to confuse someone too, I guess?
There's a reason the style is known as "circle walking" and the root for airbending
One That’s why he said “known as”.
@@thegamertaku144 Yes, I knew this information prior to making my comment. Thank you for your knowledge tho !
The footwork has as main goal to turn the practitioner an untouchable target in the same time that the practitioner can move enough for to face many oponents.
Also the constant practice improves your stamina and cardio.
This will literally transform your health. Joints become steel.
Song?
Air bending lol
Bend this! DMF.
no joke, air bending is based on this martial art
bitch this is gentle fist
Jet li is really good at this too
Yes
every time i run across this video (it has been years at this point), i am profoundly reminded of the depths heights and extent of Bagua that extend through so many variances of skill and discipline. Also, i am reminded and humbled that more training and understanding can be garnered through practice by your exhibition. Truly potent in its beauty.
Thank you.
-os-
Thank you for all the supportive comments. I will continue to change, and change, and change..
am studding chen tai chi its water love the way you move like the wind
Best Bagua i've ever seen. You put all these supposed bagua masters with beer-guts on youtube to shame.
Zachary Dierx , apparently you have not seen much, nor have you been struck or thrown by the old nei jia men with pijiu bellies .
Amazing
incredible
finally some one that knows how to put force into movement and still keep his balance! subscribed!
Aang's all grown up :D
That guy is freaking awesome that is some of the best Baqua I have ever seen
This looks like wushu bagua, not traditional bagua. very flexible and flowy though! lacks li
Bro I'm impressed. You know how to keep balance when exerting force. You don't over extend. Your movement are smooth, flexible and explosive. You understand where the force is suppose to come from. The only thing i would say is that your trap hands are a bit confusing. When you go for trap and elbows you need to flesh out the limbs you are bridging and your impact point otherwise your techniques application will fail. Great work. I don't practice your style but you do it so well I can tell it's good.
Excellent performance! I hope to have your fluidity and power in my Bagua training someday. Thank you for posting!
This is really good. It's rare to see a westerner practise chinese martial arts with graceful flowing movements. Good job!
He's from South Africa.
Forms makes sense if you've studied martial arts but to someone on the outside it must like some fancy dance.
The performer is a very well-trained athlete. The set looks like a sport wushu competition set derived from original Cheng Jia. Body is supple and pretty well integrated. One of the few good bagua videos on youtube. Keep rockin' it out.
First time a see a white person do Bagua like that.
Aren't chinese white people?
I have seen a few since the early 80's.
Ballistic N fuck no
@@ASDREX458 no white people are decended from the middle east especially the celts
Excellent control and clarity of technique. Most impressive, thank you, enjoyable.
Every time I watch an old video (this has been up for 12 years),
I always wonder what has become of the student.
I don’t care what you say... this is impressive.
wow. Such fluid movements and they look so well executed!! Awesome. Subscribed!!
I used to think Bagua was all palm strikes, ridge hands, chops, but I see now there is lots of elbows, joint locks, and throws there
Great to see Cheng style in South Africa, check out our new podcast on Baguazhang and the other internal arts.
Looks like your website is no longer active.
Han Yanwu is my master brother. that is why you practiced pretty good!
Very nice! Yes, a little jerky at times but everyones different
Very nice, fluid. What one should aspire to.
Great Bagua guy!!!
I only ever had one lesson of bagua, it was one of the most challenging classes of my life (up there with feng shou and dragon style kung fu) I do hope I get to try it again someday. Mad respect for your agility, strength, and skill :)
But when the world needed him most... he vanished!
Amazing skill and power. Bagua footwork at this level is not easy. . . and pay attention to spine and sholder flexibility. That takes time to achieve !
Nobody react to what I'm about to tell you. I think that kid might be the Avatar.
Which lineage is this sir?👌
Looks fantastic! Alot of hard work gone into it! Well done!
Very nice!
Excellent demonstration, truly Mr Menck has mastered this form and as a Westerner I would be proud to show this to Chinese
A fascinating art!
I did not know that Ry Cooder could play a Chinese instrument. Wonderful form, Hans, but a bit sloppy at the end. Need some work on your conditioning.
Less dynamic tension and more root with linkage. This stuff takes 20 years to master.
I enjoyed your changing hands, inspired.I wish you great insights and live well . Mike formerly from green dragon of chicago
Beautiful form and performance. Nice touch with General Guan Yu over the door. =)
changing is the key but dont forget the fundamentals and basics.
brilliant !
Very nice demonstration! Keep it going man, nice form too.
Amazing .
Freedom Martial Arts. First of all, thank you for sharing this video showing a young practitioner " walking the dragon " with great style.
Those who follow the " assumption reaction " will make a fool of themselves.
Not bad!
Would it be wise to give you a handshake? 0.O, maybe just a bow.
FANTASTIC! ,MANY THANKS FOR SHARING, IT WAS AWESOME!😊😊😊😊
beautiful
I see the dragon, and its power. good work
Fantastic. It's wonderful to see the preservation of this intriguing art.
subscribed amazing, finally after looking so long.
I wasn’t expecting this to be so good. It’s rare to see westerners with skill in 中国武术
It's very beautiful, but there's no strength for the fight.
...and after all these years still one of the best i have seen so far on internet
Watch Grandmaster Liu Jingru, who is the lineage holder of this form. Even at 60 in 2003, Grandmaster Liu put everyone else to shame. Also watch Han Yanwu, disciple of Grandmaster Liu. Hans studied with Master Han for a while.
Çok güzel dans ama dövüş değil
Still trying to understand the 4th palm after 5 years 😞🙏
I would love to know what styles were prevalent in the area where baguazhang was invented/discovered when it was.
Great! Greetings from Uruguay
I want to learn this!!!
Graceful movement with elegance and power
