I will be releasing it in smaller episodes for ease of viewing. Following this, I have some follow up interviews and videos that I will film and produce regarding the topic of Bagua Zhang and its history.

    Very interesting, ancient history is not always easy to study, so much folklore and missing records, but nonetheless is good to hear the theories and evidence we have today.

    This was great, I really enjoyed it and eagerly look forward to the next installment. I sincerely thank you, Sifu Byron, for all the effort and hard work that went into the translating, subtitling, dubbing and editing you did in order to make this accessible for those of us in your English speaking audience, so that we may enjoy it too.

    Thank you for uploading this. Dong Haichuan has always been a very mysterious figure with not too much info available in English. A eunuch who was able to overcome the physical weakness caused by that condition to become a preeminent martial artist who served the Qing court? It's almost too much to believe. Looking forward to the other episodes.

    I need to show this to my friends in China. Everytime I say I practice Baguazhang, they mistake it for Taiji and have no idea what I'm talking about.

      @MuShinMartialCulture  2 года назад

      Yeah, taiji is somewhat known even by people who aren't into martial arts. So they think all Chinese martial arts are like taiji

    While I am now committed to Yang style Taijiquan, I spent many, many years studying baguazhang. Thank you for your efforts with this project, Byron. It's very much appreciated.
