For those wondering about the hint before Archie fight. The whole fight is not supposed to work this way. When I played it last weekend (I believe it was version 1.4), it had already been fixed. Kyogre did not try to use Roar on me when he knows there's only Flying types on the field and in the back. The words Toxic and Break in Archie's monologue are referring to Toxic Spikes and Mold Breaker. Mega Gyarados has Mold Breaker and it's supposed to Roar Mantine when the Spikes are set to bring Weezing. The way Mold Breaker works is that when the user Roars Levitate pokémon in, Levitate is ignored, so Weezing is supposed to come in and absorb the Toxic Spikes. When Mega Gyarados is on the field and the spikes are set, only then should Kyogre try to Roar him out, so he gets poisoned, when he gets in. But, because Mega Gyarados is faster then Kyogre, his Roar into Mantine goes first, Weezing absorbs the Toxic Spikes, Kyogre Roars out Mega Gyarados and brings Mantine back. Great set up for Self-Destruct by Weezing into Mega Gyarados sweep. For some reason, when it works exactly this way, Overqwil doesn't attempt to lay out Toxic Spikes again before the Self-Destruct (maybe because Mega Gyarados could just switch in and repeat the process theoretically), so Mega Gyarados is not poisoned and can proceed to win. I used the help from Game Master to figure it out and he told me to somehow ignore Weezing's Levitate, so I'm pretty sure the fight was supposed to work this way.
I feel like something is wrong with my game, because I start off with the lead of Mantine and Gyarados and Overqwil just sets up T-Spikes while Kyogre ALWAYS goes for Origin Pulse. Idk why I can't beat this fight, there's like no way for me to force Kyogre to use Roar and idk what to do
Okay yeah a quick update, this just is not true, Kyogre outspeed Mega Gyarados on turn 1 and kills Mantine with Origin Pulse meaning I cannot even do the Roar strategy properly
for some reason my emulator kept crashing whenever I used the "Hint" option in the Pokedex, which prevented me from solving the Rock Smash puzzle by myself :(
I saw a few comments with beef about using the speed up button. I feel like Freezai is very good about explaining what he is doing, so even if he is going a little quicker visually than I can process each attack, he still explains it verbally anyways

@@ARP179 This is because Freezai didn't mega evolve so gyarados stays Water/Flying avoiding t-spikes and keeps the moxie ability.
